First 6 months or so, I was a full charge kinda guy. First EV, and love to drive, so always wanted full range.

As time went by toned that down to 85% normally, unless going somewhere on a weekend, then 100% twice a month.

Now, I typically maintain charge between 45-70% saves me time, there's also a DCFC station close that charges by the minute instead of kWh, so minimizing cost, and time spent charging while also preserving the pack within that 25% discharge window.

If I road trip, I still use the full capacity of the battery, it's there to use.
Worst case according to Electrifi is I've lost just over 4% overall capacity in 2.5 years, and 58,000kms. Pretty happy with that overall.

Our R1T-Large has the full capacity range of 314 (there about) miles. If we are planning to do any extended driving (weekend road trips), I will charge it up to the 95-100% range. Otherwise, I find that Extended Range charging of 85% gets me through the week just fine. If charged to 100%... 3 times in the 8 months we've owned the truck.

I follow the "ABC" (Always Be Charging) method, using the home L2 charger to keep the battery topped off at capacity before we head out on the road; it's usually day or so from DCFC charging to our travels. .

Only when I’m headed on a road trip but I’ll probably never charge to 100% again. This last time the battery got too hot so I couldn’t use AC or change drive modes for 45 min while the truck cooled off the battery.

I do. I would say 9/10 charges.

We live in the city and our condo doesn't have the capacity (currently) to install a charger. Our house outside of the city, however has a Rivian Level 2 charger, so that's really the only place I Level 2 charge and that's about once or twice a month.
