Does Lectron offer a Rivian discount or extra perk for picking them over the cheaper A2Z that didn’t have issues out of the gate?

Why don’t you take the A2Z one?
Lectron still has issues as reported on Facebook with stuck adapters.

Second, you do not need to initiate charging with the Tesla app. Part of the arrangement between Tesla and Ford/Rivian is that we could just plug and charge, seamlessly.
So I went the other day to test out my A2Z at a local supercharger and I had to manually start the session with the Tesla app. Otherwise, the car just sat there saying "starting" on the screen. I checked to make sure my Rivian accounts (both of them) had billing information, but it just didn't want to start on its own. I could get it to start using the Tesla app, so I'm not sure what I was doing wrong with the Rivian side of things.

Shipping Update: I ordered my Lectron Vortex adapter on 4/4/24.
It finally shipped out on 5/29/24 and just arrived to me in Los Angeles on 6/7/24.

Seems like the recall is sorted and they're getting orders out now.

Received today and will test it this week. But am I crazy, or is this chart all backwards? Wouldn’t (1) be the CCS1 connector and (2) be the NACS inlet? If so, then I think the 3 and 4 are backwards also. ?

I agree with you.
It's not a huge deal, but the rest of the instructions refer to these parts (are they referring to the right ones or the wrong ones?!). Just amazes me how this stuff gets through to production and shipping without anyone noticing.

Manufacturing and design/printing of documentation are all done in China, likely by people who aren't familiar with EVs or EV charging. Then, you have the clients state-side, who are supposed to review and approve proofs, but weren't on the ball.

Not particularly confidence-instilling, is it?

it still should be someone’s job to review you can’t trust the factory to do it. I’ve translated manuals in three languages even I make mistakes with verbiage but diagrams can’t be like this. There is no excuse except laziness.

Did you skip the last sentence or did you skip the last sentence?

I received mine 5.13. Later in the manual the buttons are referred to differently, and correctly.

I got mine yesterday and overall am happy with it.
It would have been nice to get an update or two along the way. Seems like I waited too long with no information. Even when I reached out to them, I got minimal information.
To me the math seems easy. How many orders have been placed? How many adaptors are expected? Ship X amount per week. That should give a loose timeline?
Also, I was disappointed that there was no case supplied like the A2Z.

The unit seems to be high quality.

The performance was FLAWLESS when I charged at the local supercharger.
Cost in Naples FL is .45-55 cents per KW at the supercharger and the local FPL charger is .30 cents per KW.
So, the Tesla option is a backup at this point.
Overall, I am happy so far.

With Tesla membership, price would probably be on-par. The $12.99/mo subscription takes about 100 kWh to break even on, so it depends on how often you foresee charging there.
