I'm seeing similar data for other charger networks on Google Maps... did other networks always have that info show up, or maybe this is new for all chargers that put out live info....

Edit - look like EA added the same sort of data integration to Google Maps in October (or announced it, anyway). So today's news is in fact just for Tesla stations.

Charge point has been integrated for quite a while.

All other networks have a public API with that data. EA and Tesla did not have a public API. EA status did show up last month in Google, but not Apple.

Edit: In Arizona, I see all of these network statuses in Google and Apple maps, as well as Plugshare:

- EVGO
- ChargePoint
- EV Connect
- Ionna
- Circle K
- Red E
- Blink
- Shell Recharge
- Rivian

Not on my iPhone yet, which is on the latest non beta version. Though I have to question the usefulness since it’s already in the Tesla app, and you’re probably going to use that to charge?

Also another reminder that CarPlay integration would really help. Then it would be far more useful.

One thing to be careful about with the Tesla app is that it does not automatically update after you first select a site. You have to tap it again to refresh it. The EA app does not behave this way, nor does Google.

I also do not have this in Apple maps on my phone, but Google on my phone and in my Hummer do have it.
