Lost phone key setup…

Anybody else experience this? Phone key randomly stopped working

That happened to me yesterday.
you have to be in the vehicle to pair it again but you won’t go through the whole thing. Once you tap “set up” it will remember it and your paired. I did that this morning.
it can be annoying though if it happens again.

Just happened this evening for me as well. Long session with roadside assistance and many deletions, rebootings, and re-pairings of iPhone key failed to get the phone key working again. Waiting to try again in the morning.

I suspect a Rivian server side problem. Looked like key data was not coming back to the phones. Was fixed by the morning. I could add the phone key back in.

Maybe the next version of the app will check for a healthy cloud first rather than summarily performing Seppuku.
