Miles on odometer at delivery / pickup? Mileage thread

Ours had in the ballpark of 30mi. VIN 16xxx. Picked up at the factory in IL.

Mine had exactly 10. Since they don't allow test drives, I'd be worried if it had more than 25 miles for sure.

I bought a brand "new" VW about 5 years ago that had ~150 miles on it. Didn't really think much of it, but 1 week later and it was dead had to be towed back to the dealer. I've had many many other issues past 5 years on that car. Even discovered an aftermarket GPS tracker plugged into the OBD-II port a few months in. Some strange shit was going on with that car before I bought it "new." As such, I wouldn't make that mistake again. 25 is plenty for Rivian to do some tests at the factory and the service center to prep

I had intermittent "service suspension" messages and some extreme vampire drain. Both issues were resolved after a service center visit. Neither of these issues were related to the mileage at delivery. The problem was a short in the main 12v harness and replacement of one of the modules. I also had some minor panel alignment issues that were addressed. Since getting my truck back in mid February it has been rock solid.

I bought a 2022 911 that had 5 miles when delivered to the dealer and 30 when I picked it up. The salesman was probably joy riding but so what, it is covered under warranty.

Manufactured 1/23 and just picked up Friday. Had 29 miles. Seems reasonable because the delivery location is different from the prep location.

How did you determine manufacture date? Is it written on the vehicle somewhere?
