Yes and yes. But can't get passed that for some reason. It sucks. My guide seems nice, but the communication has been horrible.
Gotcha. We’ll hopefully there is progress soon. I signed my PBA 3 weeks ago…and still no 8 steps. Although my order date is after yours so I can’t complain.

I have told them I will take pretty much any vehicle (color, interior, underbody, etc.), would be more than happy to pick it up at the SC
That is insanely frustrating, you do not even have a crazy color or option spec it seems. This definitely seems like you have fallen into a black hole of reservations. Someone at Rivian knows what's going on (hopefully), but like before, lack of honest communications is the killer here. Sorry dude.

I am sure you all are sick of hearing me complain, but this whole thread is frustrating beyond words. I feel like I need a mental health break from this website. :CWL:

I am BEGGING Rivian for my vehicle at this point, and am getting nowhere. I am 20 minutes from the Denver service center, but am close by at least a couple times a week. I have told them I will take pretty much any vehicle (color, interior, underbody, etc.), would be more than happy to pick it up at the SC, and I can't get anywhere. I am just completely ignored. Emails, texts, voicemails all just go into a blackhole. CS is always pleasant, but they can't do anything, and it never actually moves anything along. I've had no issues waiting for 3+ years, but the past month has really just taken me from being excited to just being exasperated. I don't know what else to do at this point, but this has all left a really sour taste in my mouth.
Yeah I now have a guide and signed a PBA but I have seen enough here to know that nothing means anything until the delivery is in my driveway. The system is broken and this thread in particular can really drive you nuts.

Wait a second I'm confused, people that ordered way after me are getting trucks delivered?
The record I've seen is someone reserving 3 years and 2 months after I did getting contacted for a truck. I've never witnessed a company ? on their earliest supporters more than these clowns.

Maybe the original pre-order person died of covid or had hit financial hard times and can't have the truck at the moment.

Ya why wouldn't they contact earliest first? Makes zero sense.

I'm a little weary of some of these claims, but not all. [How do Q4 reservations have guides to contact?]

We know that service centers are piling up with production ramping and some folks with reservations may not have the means to take delivery. It makes sense for Rivian to keep a truck in its locale and find a reservation holder in the area, rather than traversing the country for next in line.

All-in-all, I am completely jealous, BUT congrats to the lottery winners!

This whole journey with Rivian is frustrating for sure. At one point they promised every LE reservation holder will be contacted by a guide by the Thanksgiving 2021. That of course didn't happen, which was fine with me, since they didn't have any trucks to deliver anyway, but now they are assigning guides to people that ordered in late 2021, while LEs are still not being contacted.

I'm on day 1,179 and not even assigned a guide. I guess I should start a youtube channel or update my myspace content to get Rivian's attention. :(

Yes, though if you're suggesting I should go into the account and change to BM or FE that is not what Rivian advised in the OC delay emails.

They specifically said they would reach out to us to see what the interest would be in changing.

If they are ignoring those who haven't actually changed from OC in their accounts it is seriously messed up. Which would be par for the course on these PR dopes I guess.

It's June give or take - it makes no sense to me to change to a (IMO) lesser interior when they say OC will come out in the fall (albeit what they say is generally worthless). I've waited over 3.5 years...what's another 3 months.

It's the chaos as you say, the utter and intentinal lack of clarity that is most galling.
