Phone suddenly not working well with R1S

Phone works well anywhere and with anything else except in my R1S. Used to not have this problem until recently. Anyone else? I’ve disconnected my phone from the vehicle, hit forget device on phone, and reset Bluetooth. Any suggestions?

I’ve also been experiencing this. For maybe two weeks or so, it almost never unlocks until I take my phone out of my pocket, open the app, and tap the unlock control. Even weirder, I’ve had it lock out of nowhere when I was standing right next to the truck unloading the bed.

My issue is people can’t hear me very well via Bluetooth ONLY in my R1S, nowhere else. They say it keeps cutting out or sounds distant.

I have the exact same issue getting it to unlock. It's soooo slow to respond. At home when it's already unlocked and I just get in, I have to open the app, and press the unlock button and still wait 5-20 seconds before it will even allow me to put it in reverse. It has become super annoying and seems to be getting even worse/slower. Haven't yet had it lock unexpectedly as you have. The vehicle used to unlock as I approached, well before I was standing at the door. I tried forgetting/re-pairing with the phone, uninstalled/reinstalled the app and they didn't change anything. I'm hoping this new problem (and the "clunk" of the rear motor engaging) go away with an update soon!

Until then, I hope that someone on this forum has another "fix" for us to try.

Same here and was working just fine for a couple of years. Have a Samsung S23. Early on I had a phone that was 5+ years old and no longer supported by Samsung and PAAK did not work. Once I bought the S23 PAAK worked properly.

I'm on my last legs with this R1T considering I can't use the bluetooth on phone, no Android Auto, no text message system at all, Alexa only recognizes 50% of my contacts, the radar cruise control sees phantom objects and slams on the brakes, the rain sensing wipers are senseless, access to the trunk is terrible and the lid gets jammed with debris very easily plusca few more. The mechanics of the truck are totally let down by the software. For the life of me I cannot understand how Rivian is making deals for their software. My Chevy Bolt software was aces compared to Rivian.

I finally got sick of my PAAK barely working after it performed flawlessly for my wire yesterday, so I forgot my R1T from my phone’s Bluetooth, deleted my PAAK, and then set those two things back up. So far, things seem back to normal!

I had an issue a few months ago where my PAAK stopped working, and the key fob (that is also bluetooth) would not work either. I ended up getting the PAAK bluetooth module (not the correct name for that part I'm sure) replaced and it has been perfect ever since.
