Got my call today!! Getting mine fixed in 2 weeks in San Jose, CA.

I should knock on wood - my tonneau still works perfectly. (Although a recent load of bark dust has gotten something stuck somewhere that it makes a nasty scraping noise as it retracts.) Hopefully all the bugs in the new mechanism (and the install process) get worked out before mine needs the fix.

(And no, I have never lubed it, either. I like to live on the wild side, baby!)

Congrats! I hope I get the same call from the Phoenix SC soon! I filed a ticket in 6/2023, although mine still sort of works. The last slat gets caught and won't fully retract about half the time.

Maybe I'll text my contact up there and give them a nudge

I just did some eavesdropping on a technician meeting at the Denver SC while picking up my truck— the manager was saying they’re getting ready to start doing them in bulk, they expect to do 5-6/day, and they’re trying to hire contractors to do them as a mobile service

Got my call today!! Getting mine fixed in 2 weeks in San Jose, CA.

Same for me, replacement on the 14th in SJ.
Cover was disabled March 2023. I sure hope this works with some level of robustness!

Well … it’s in the shop, and parts were pulled. If the app is to be believed, they might be done with the Tonneau portion? But I can’t say for certain since the new Service Status interface is new to me.

But - if they’re as far along as the app suggests, I might know early in the week (unless I get a surprise call tomorrow).

And done! Dropped it off in San Jose SC this morning and picked it up around 4:30pm. Works like a charm. They gave me Lyft vouchers to go back and forth. Very smooth experience. Their parking lot is full.
