Purchasing a Demo Vehicle -- experience / feedback?

Has anyone purchased a demo vehicle yet? I just ordered one last night. Its a 2022 R1T with 5k miles on it. Vin is 7xxx .. Does anyone have a R1T with a vin that low.. if so, have you had any issues with it?

I am assuming this should have the Meridian sound speakers (which I would love)

I'm just not sure how the condition of the vehicle will be. I wonder if I find any panel gaps or damage, if they would repair it for free?

Waiting on Rivian to call me back hopefully sometime today so I can clear all these questions out.

I also read that these will qualify for half the tax credit, so $3750 off the purchase price. But I will confirm if that's true with Rivian when they call.

Yes they will. But it won’t be a point of purchase, you’ll have to file for it next years tax.

I’m waiting to hear back from the guide to let me know. That was also my question. I think there should be some sort of paperwork that will show we get 3750 back in taxes.

my guide said they will not! Unless it’s something that’s under warranty.
which did scare me a bit.

There is no paperwork or guarantee from Rivian you get the tax credit (even though you do). That is between you and your tax preparer (and IRS). It's interesting because they are being sold "as new", but you are accepting the vehicle "as is" which means they are not fixing panel gaps, etc (at least that's what I was told) that would fall under the 12,000/1yr adjustment warranty. Now I bought a 2022 so maybe a more recent VIN is different. I'm saving over $20,000 so I'm not to worried about it.
