Question about guide contact after delivery

Does access to your guide end after delivery? Essentially what I’m asking is can you still text or contact your guide for minor questions or concerns about the vehicle after delivery or does your relationship with them end after the car is delivered and should I go through service for all questions?

You still have them as a guide, their usefulness post purchase is debatable though.

You do not lose your guide after delivery. Some guides are more attentive than others.

A couple weeks after I took delivery I got the following email. Sounds like they are trying something like this in Canada? Doesn’t sound like a bad idea to me.

interesting, guess youre part of the pilot group as i still have my guide after delivery.

this probably makes sense because guides become a lot less useful and responsive after you take delivery - you basically become yesterdays leftovers.

this probably makes sense because guides become a lot less useful and responsive after you take delivery - you basically become yesterdays leftovers.
In a way it’s understandable. I think they are probably assigned way too many customers to realistically help so they just need to focus on that day’s business and not much else. I sent my guide a thank you for getting me through the purchase process but I haven’t had another reason to contact her. Hopefully this would improve the overall experience for everyone!

My guide is pretty great. I just emailed him last week and I bought my truck in Sept of last year. He responded within a day and the email wasn't even anything important. I've had good luck with the guides.

I have yet to have my guide respond to any contact. Email or text. Car is expected to arrive later next month.

My guide, Pam, has been great since my Aug 2022 purchase, she reaches out pretty regularly with updates, was instrumental in getting me the full size spare tire everyone has been waiting for, and responds pretty fast to any inquires.

No kiddin’. Though my guide does respond to my inquiries, I pretty much have to give him a few days or a week.

Tthe guys at the service center know exactly who he is. I’m guessing they’ve had complaints.

Before my purchase, I had a different guide. She was spot on perfect but supposedly got promoted.
