I will not be automatically sending them out.

My plan is the change, once verified, will be made as a running update to the existing model. It will be offered as a replacement part should people need to purchase a replacement.

Existing owners before the change will be contacted and provided with a coupon code to make the part cost $0. You'll then have to choose if you need or want the updated part and place an order for it.

FYI - The updated center block is now in significant production and stock is available to ship. If you were an early owner, check your email. A targeted email with a coupon in it should be delivered very, very soon. This coupon will discount the $8.00 replacement part by $7.99, making the upgraded item $0.01 + shipping, which starts at $3.60.

Shopify was being dumb (or I was, or maybe we both are?) and I couldn't make it free + shipping. Please accept my humble apologies about that.

Also, I think today is one of the first days where we had real availability of the product since it went out in the newsletter mid last week. While not difficult to print, they take quite some time. I'm continuing to pump them out as fast as I can.

Edit - I believe this is Shopify being dumb. You were the last order and were errantly included within the group. I'm going to submit a bug report on about it.

Sorry, late to the game here. Are these still available? The Shopify site shows ‘back ordered’. I’m assuming that’s just because you’re producing them to order? Or is there a huge demand and backup on them?

100% still available. I think they're on the production plan for Tuesday or Wednesday. These take a bit to produce and we've been a bit swamped with producing a bunch of the NextGen Cup Holders and Ultimate MagSafe Charging Pad V2's that were both launched in the last 10 days.

We moved our son who just graduated college and got his first real job. We packed the R1S as much as we could. Having a flat floor sure made it easier.

You should be all set now. Keep in mind that orders are shipped in the order they are received and we've been away most of the week, so it will be a few days before we're able to work through everything.

Yep - It continues to work.

Made a rough revision for the center piece. This one bolts into place using the original screw holes and pivots on a pair of hinges to either store or use. This addresses issues people have with the center piece falling into the sub-trunk when lifting the floor. The two side L's wont fall over because of their shape.

This one is a “one of” experimental/trial I made for fun to see if I can come up with “improvements”. It works but it’s much more complicated and a bit more fragile than the original design. I can see them breaking easier if someone knocked against it wrong or opens it with some force.

The ones @RWerksman sells are not these experimental ones.
