These are the same people that drive into their garage with the bikes on top.Why not just close it after unplugging like literally everything else ever?
I’ve got no problem with it being manual. Honestly surprised the R1 doors have held up as well as they have. Just curious if they built in a minder on R2 when you put it into gear, so it’s not left flapping in the wind when it inevitably gets left open or not latched properly, or someone decides to play with it while your car is parked.Honestly this is one of the cost cuts I actually am fine with. I get so annoyed washing my Tesla and the freaking charge port door always opens. Doesn’t like to be manually shut either, have to use the app. It’s just doesn’t need to be powered IMO. Give me a manual charge port door like a gasoline vehicle!
or in two Tesla household, I hit the button on the charge handle to plug in wife's Y and my Cybertruck charge port opensHonestly this is one of the cost cuts I actually am fine with. I agree, but the R2 charge port door looks kind of flimsy compared to the gas tank flap on a typical ice vehicle, in my opinion.Honestly this is one of the cost cuts I actually am fine with.
