I reserved an R2 and was proceeding to try to convince my wife that she needs one. Then she saw the R3X. After that It was all over. No R2 will be purchased, but I'm very excited by the R3. If she doesn't get one, I will.

If the R1 gets the new battery, NACS, steering wheel and enduro quad I would be torn between the R1 and R2

Man do I love both of these models! The R2 looks amazing on the road. Love how the R3X looks as well with the orange accents. Great things about the R2 and R3 looks like they have the same mirrors and can be swapped.

100%. I actually think the R3 and R3X will be more popular than the R2. I love the hot hatch look. Reminds me of the my first car (Mk II Golf).

Looks so good on the move in public. Perfectly sized. And so different in styling than anything available. Please move up production into 2025 somehow RJ

I love the R3, but Rivian has to dig itself out of a hole first. They’ve lost money on every R1T and R1S they’ve sold. They also just laid off 10% of their workforce to stay alive. The R2 is their last best hope. I just hope they survive long enough to release it.

I get that it's styled like a hot hatch but it looks quite a bit bigger than say a Mazda 3 or GTI. Look at the second video (the one that starts with the front of the vehicle). Toward the end, it drives by a 2nd gen Scion Xb. It looks quite a bit larger than that and I'm not sure anyone would argue that the scion is a hot hatch.
