Anybody have updates on Santa Nella and Buttonwillow?
We are going to Disneyland next month, I will stop by and see what is going on and post pictures. I have been checking every few days in hopes that it will open before then. I saw the link on page 8 of this thread and clicked on it. It looks like it has been in the works since mid 2021.

My apologies for failing to take pics, but drove by the Phoenix RAN yesterday and a crew was trenching to the location of the transformer - which was on site.

There is now a Magic Dock Tesla charger in Arlington before your drive back should you need it. Hearing mixed reviews on a lot of the fast chargers from EVGo etc up there.
Whats the address to the Magic Dock? It doesn't show up on the Tesla app

Oof, that puts it close to $1/mile, doesn't it?! (no caffeine in the brain yet. That's awful math)
That's not a sustainable price point. I'm sure they've crunched their own numbers and that's what they think they have to charge to eventually make a little profit, but yikes!

And it's a lot of why the NEVI funds are so critical to getting us over the tipping point. The next step is going to be figuring out how to lower the utility costs industry-wide. Demand charges are a real problem.

R1's are right about 2 miles per KW so $.285/ mile at that rate. Still not great but also not $1.

Oh duh! No caffeine in the system yet, so did 2x rather than .5x. LOL...

OK, if my second attempt at math goes better, that's equivalent to about $8/gallon for 30mpg vehicle. At $4/gallon, it's similar to the gas cost of a 14mpg vehicle. So still a little better than fueling up a Ford Raptor or Ram TRX!
