Just took delivery today. This warning started popping up while driving randomly. We’re in Standard drive mode with auto ride height set to standard. Obviously we can’t just stop driving as it says we should while in traffic. Anyone else seen this??

This occurred to me a couple of times while backing out of my driveway. Service ran a diagnostic and “no problem found.”

Clearly there is an issue, with a flaky sensor if nothing else, but the service techs don’t care, and you can’t take the car anywhere else, so why do the job right?

When I see it again, I’ll file a service ticket again, and they’ll make an appointment for me four months out and run another diagnostic.

In my experience Rivian loves to throw error messages just to scare us.

You'll probably get a random "service suspension soon" message that just disappears.

In the App I got the "vehicle unlocked, please check doors, gear tunnel, etc" but I had it purposely unlocked in a garage with passive entry turned off.

Rivian needs to make an effort at curbing these error messages so it only shows them when there is an actual problem.

Did this happen upon startup before you left your driveway/parking spot? I’ve only seen it happen then, never while driving.

Is Standard the same as All Purpose?

Initially upon startup when leaving the driveway (sloped right to left near the end). Then it came back at least 4 or 5 times when traveling roughly 30-40mph on a flat road 5-20mins later.

I saw it 2x shortly after the .34 update and never again. My driveway is level then quite steep downward and it may simply have been how I parked.

We see this reasonably often when rasing from `kneel mode` do you have that activated? Goes away soon as the truck has finished rasing to the normal (middle) ride height. Annoys my wife quite a bit 1st thing in the morning as we leave our driveway, which slopes quite steeply down. (we only use all purpose and auto ride height as our drive mode as well)

Mine has done that a few times after sitting in the garage for a day or two. I assumed it does some auto-levelling stuff on occasion and if you start driving before it can settle back into whatever drive mode was selected, it asks you to stop for a second. I can feel the suspension adjust slightly for a beat, then it goes away and I drive off. Haven't thought much about it.

I had that a bunch of times for awhile, and now nothing. My driveway is flat, then a short steep down to the road. Related? Who knows. I also found that if I parked with my front wheels turned to the side, it would lose air pressure on the front left side (quite noticeable), but it would raise it immediately when the truck woke up. When I park with the wheels straight, no issues at all.

I had this issue as well, driving 35-40 mph All Purpose mode, auto height. Light came on intermittently a few times but goes out after a minute.

I didn't have this issue before last update which did make changes to the ride, might be related.
