Rivian Tent

I know on the gear store, Rivian offers a 3 person tent for the R1S. Has anyone bought that and used it on the R1T? Would it fit in the bed? I saw Rivian offer a 3rd party tent for the T, but it's only a 1-2 person tent. Or if anyone has any recommendations for a 3 person tent for the T, that would be appreciated!

Any 3 person tent is going to hang over the tailgate. They're too long in my opinion, but some people here have installed longer tents. Just looks wrong.

I have a Roofnest Condor Overland and it fits great.

I've got the Smittybilt Gen2 Overland tent and it fits 3 of us, though snug. I'm 5'10", and my wife and son are both around 5'2" (though he's going to shoot past that here soon ... so I may have a different opinion this summer).

The only major downside is that the front stay for the rain fly won't attach due to interference with the spoiler. But it works otherwise, and so far I really like it.

We bought the Yakima Skyrise HD—the non-Rivian branded version of the tent Rivian sells for the R1S. It’s the same tent. It’s a three person, and we love it. Smart design and super comfortable. It fits the truck bed great. We have it opening on the driver’s side.

For my R1T Gen 1, I got the Yakima Skyrise Medium tent from REI.

It's the same tent that Rivian is currently selling for the R1S, but without the Rivian branding, and a lot cheaper.
A few years ago Rivian advertised that tent for the R1T, but I think they dropped it for the truck for the reason mentioned in an earlier post: interference of the window stays (flexible steel rods) with the truck roof spoiler. I found that by adjusting the tent position on the racks correctly, the stays are flexible enough to feed through the spoiler slots and hold the window flap open. I've been using it this way for several years, and I'm very happy with the tent.
Yakima calls it a three-person tent, which in my mind really means comfortable for two, at least at my age. My wife and I use it with our small dog and everybody has plenty of room. It does not extend beyond the tailgate.
One nice thing about that soft-top tent is that it can accommodate an extra memory foam mattress topper in addition to the nice-but-firm mattress included with the tent, and still fold up easily.

Yes we have a Condor Overland 2 and we love it. Fits well on an Xtrusion Overland rack and can fit 2-3 adults.

I picked up the Naturnest Sirius 2 tent. It uses the new style hinge mechanism to give you more space and has built in power and lighting. Its full blackout, comes with shoe bags and it very high quality. I'm a happy camper (pun intended.)

The tent they sell for the R1S is a rebranded Yakima Skyrise HD. It’s declared as such on the Gear Shop page. It is the same one that was once offered for the T, but withdrawn due to regulations over blockage of the high mounted brake light.

What the offer now is a variant of the iKamper Skycamp Mini mostly cosmetic differences. Look up the footprint dimensions for that and that’s your guide for what fits over the bed, without overhang, when closed.
