Slow charging to 100%

I’m vacationing in Michigan and the only home charging available is a 120 outlet.
Before I drive home I’d like to charge to 100% to minimize stops on the way home.
If it’s bad for the battery to stay at a high charge, is it also bad to slow charge that high. It will obviously spend a long time above 85% on its way to a full charge.

If I were you, I'd cap it at ~95% under these circumstances. While I charge to 100% for every roadtrip, it sits at 100% for no more than an hour as I'll top it off quickly with a level2 before I hit the road. Presumably you will sit at 100% or close to it for an extended period of time (if you can get it that high) due to the slow nature of the 120V. While not the end of the world, you should limit the duration it sits at 100%.

We charge regularly to 90% but when we take a road trip we will go to 100% for the initial leg and then use ABRP or the Rivian planner (if ABRP isn't integrated by then) to do the rest of the trip.
