My updated failed twice support says the VIP module would not take the update anyone else have this happen?

I have app and update downloaded...I don't see on my phone where I make a trip plan...

But I'm not the best at figuring these things out.

both updates (truck / phone) need to be done before you can plan ....

Yes, and in some cases a couple of weeks to deploy fleet wide.

Seems correct.. I updated the phone app (Android) this morning, rebooted the phone and still no "Plan" button because my R1T hasn't been offered the vehicle update yet.

Have both updates installed. the 1st thing i dont see is the ability to tell planning whether or not i'm towing. ABRP allows me to set the consumption to account for towing. So while this may be pretty good for normal driving. Needs a towing update - unless i missed something.

More than likely lack of towing at present is due to Rivian intending to release a Towing centric update later this summer.

This release is the precursor to addtional functionality (including towing specific items) that depend on this being in place.

The recirc issue is one reason why updates are rolled out incrementally. It wouldn’t surprise me if the update was paused while point-one is being developed to deal with the issue.

Did this update a couple days ago and the sound randomly stopped working. Infotainment reset didn’t resolve the issue but hard reset did. Just a heads up in case anyone else runs into this issue.

Agreed. I have a Tesla as well. The App and Onboard Features are far superior in the Tesla. I keep hoping for the next update to include better music apps and better functionality of the truck itself.

How can we get this done? If I can press up on the stalk to cancel, why not press up again to resume? Who do I need to talk to?

It should resume automatically like my Ford.

Route planning is insanely better with this update not only through the app but also the truck. Being able to select a range upon arrival, multiple routes to choose from, prefered networks. I've driven 32,000 miles in the truck and dreamed about these options. I kinda thought this was a nothing burger update but truly from a usability for a roadtrip vehicle it makes it 10x better.

So update is ready to go in my truck, but I hesitate to install due to the loud compressor issues some are having. Is there a noticeable change in compressor behavior that is irritating, or is this just "within spec" now?
