I think the new lane change feature needs some work. Just a simple trip between Dallas and Austin….it worked smoothly about 50% of the time and the rest it was just slightly countering my movement, even after waiting a couple blinks.

But don’t wait too many blinks, it’ll reset and you’ll jerk the car over and disengage Driver + entirely.

Do a Left/right steering wheel button reset.

Yesterday I did reset and immediately after the reboot I saw a ton of network traffic. an hour later I had the update is ready prompt.

No but seriously I've now heard 3 different Rivian people say Google Maps is coming. Take it with a massive grain of salt because last year one of their software engineers told me CarPlay was coming.

I honestly can't remember right now. We were at the Pasadena Hub grand opening on Friday and I was already 2 craft beers in when he showed me the email that he would be getting it probably yesterday. His personal R1T is enrolled in the beta program. He was asking about features I would like to see or what people were saying in the forums... so I can't remember if was my suggestion or if he said something specific was coming.

Here is the one tidbit I do remember. For the times when when Regen is automatically reduced /disabled, like right after charging to 85%, the vehicle will now being applying your mechanical brakes to suppliment stopping. He said it might feel weird to some that hover over the brake, because it will feel like the pedal is being depressed under your fooot.

Also, XM / Sirius Radio rollout.

Thats all I remember him saying.

Tesla recently added that feature, and I really like it.

Tell him Vampire drain. Mine uses so much I feel like someone else drives it around while I'm not looking. Hope they had fun at lunch today. I should have stayed on .38

.38 is where we realized our R1S was losing almost no power overnight. .42 didn't change that much either. Haven't really paid attention since .46.

After installing this update, the charging screen disappeared. It's not in the app drawer either. Nothing comes up when charging either, but I can see on the app that it's charging. What the heck.

I am able to set the departure range with app version 2.5.0 on Android. See attached screen shot below for how I do it. I thought this was available for a while but I can't remember which version it was added.

OMG, and here I thought the app was broken. This used to work for me fine in previous app versions and it didn't in this one. Turns out I just had to move my giant thumb over to the left a little bit. I've been intuitively tapping on the down arrow next to departure range instead of on the number/gauge icon which brings up location instead. I swear it used to be different in previous versions, but I'd have to see the old one again to compare. Anyway, thanks for pointing this out! I had already used the new feedback button in the app to complain about it ?
