Just returned from 2 week absence from my R1S. Still no update to .50 available. Has something transpired that I missed. I am jet lagged so it may be me.

2023.50.1 has not been released to General production vehicles.

The fact that they are on 2023.50.1 should speak volumes to them doing adequate testing and fixing an issue before they push it out.

Even after it finally is released it will be rolled out over several weeks. Patience?

46 was released 1 month ago today.

How often did you expect them to release new updates?

While I do suspect 50 will be released this week, It seems very premature to act like it's been so long something must be wrong.

Wow tough crowd….

For the record they have been releasing about monthly updates… so yeah the answer is it just hasn’t been released yet.

From the 18 pages of chatter on one thread and all of those owners hoping to see it by Xmas, I too thought it had been released. Then I realized it had only been spotted by some Tesla app on one Rivian.

I think there's more they're trying to fix behind the scenes--there's a thread on the fact that some of us who drive a bit longer duration are seeing our heating stop working (or act bizarrely partway through our trips) and service has confirmed it's supposed to be corrected in this upcoming update (which the initial release notes didn't include any HVAC improvements that I'd seen). SO, my hypothesis is that when they realized this priority update needed added, they pushed their timeline to get the code and testing done.

Could be in my head, though and they're exactly on schedule--we did just go through the holiday season, and a LOT of people take off to spend time with loved ones and decompress, and...that's cool too!

@gsqrd , I'm in your camp. I also thought that I would see .50 by the first few days of Jan. I'm also fine with being at the end of the line just in case a bug shows up in the release ?.
As for today, I have mixed feelings. We're in blizzard conditions right now, and heading 5 hours into the mountains tomorrow. I'm content to stick with a stable release that's working well until we return.
Please don't stay off the forum because of a few sharply worded replies to your question. Overall, this is a friendly and welcoming community.
