They must have fixed the issue, because it is now back on the site and it got added back to my order. From what I heard, the original design used one motor which caused it to skew when it opened/closed and the new design is supposed to use 2. One on each side

Shows up in the configurator for me and on my summary...was removed previously. Don't know if it's because I have the max pack and that won't be here until hell freezes over, so they figure it will be ready by then?!? :):fingerscrossed:

Or they figure... this whole config is never going to happen, so let's at least make em' happy for a little while.

Sorry, hopefully it's not that!

mine was never removed as they said you have to select manual or no tonneau yourself, but this is accurate that powered tonneau is selectable again. wild.

I don't think this means it's fixed. My Powered Tonneau was never removed from my config and still there. When they ran the estimator the config reverted to how you had it on 10/16 (which was before they announced that they were pausing powered). So if you updated your config between 10/17 and 10/28 to remove the Powered cover, then that's why you see it now (went back to 10/16 config). I talked to CS and they told me I could work with my guide to change it to manual when the time comes.

I recall that it was removed from my config, and I could choose to order a manual cover, and if I went to the configurator, I would have had to add the manual cover. It was removed for me and the only choice was to add it back as manual. Now when I go to the config, the automatic is selected and I can select manual or automatic. So, unless they messed up the website, seems like it's now an available option?

Also shows up if you go to View a new one, where some of the other options still show as currently unavailable (ie camp kitchen and gear tunnel shuttle - which I also had on my original order, that is no longer there)

yeah, it's confusing. Which is why I'm not going to touch my config until I get a guide assigned as to not screw up my window.

Man I'd really like to know about this. I'm about to confirm an R1T with a manual cover, and if the powered is back sooner than we thought, I'll hold out on my R1T exchange process.

It’s not back. It never left the configurator for people with preorders.

My tonneau just broke at 1500 miles (vin 65xx but delivered early August) and service told me they could remove the jammed slat but no fix for now. On a separate note, the other items I put in at the same time (sagging front passenger suspension and tocking, both of which started about a week ago) they are getting me in for service in 2 weeks, so not as long of a wait as I was expecting.
Did they fix your sagging suspension issue? I had the same problem in the same spot, got it back yesterday. They wrote "needed calibration" it appears to be working fine, though I swear it is still lower sometimes. Probably paranoid.

Update: false hope, this is definitely not the fixed unit. Nice to have it working again, but it seems ready to break again very soon…
