Trouble using electrafi

Seems like everyone is using electrafi.com to track their efficiency so I created an account and gave my vehicle info. After 3 days still nothing shows up. In the Rivian Live feed is says "User is forbidden from accessing this resource", and similar in the Electrafi feed is shows "200 FORBIDDEN" but also says the car is online and collecting data. I've put in a ticket and searched the electrafi forums but I'm guessing I'm missing a step or something to allow data to flow? Is there anything that needs to be done in the car itself?

Do you have MFA enabled on the Rivian account? If you login to the Rivian app with the account being used you can disable it temporarily, access Electrafi and turn it back on after.

Thank you for the quick reply. I don't see MFA enabling in my Rivian App, can you tell me where that is? Sorry to need all the hand holding...

When you login to https://rivian.com/ with the account being used in Electrafi are you prompted to verify your identity?

If so, login and edit your Rivian account security settings to disable Two-factor Authentication temporarily and try Electrafi again. If this works, turn Two-factor Authentication back on.

Ah, found it under security, duh. Wasn't turned on. With authentication turned I wasn't able to get the Rivian API tokens, turning it off, it says Rivian API Tokens acquired.

I'll try posting on the testify.com forum unless anyone has any other ideas to try.

I signed up a few days ago and am also seeing the same, at the bottom of the feed. It's able to pull my VIN and some other info, but the ElectraFi account seems completely empty of data. There's a footer on the site that says I need to charge to at least 90%, but I've done that with no change.

I just submitted an ElectraFi support ticket. Will update this thread if/when they respond.

Is logging enabled under settings/accounts/subscriptions?

Found this interesting bit of info on the Home Assistant plugin page:

Note: Sensors will not be displayed for this new driver until the driver is signed in to a Rivian phone app and linked to the vehicle like an actual new driver. You may temporarily sign out of your Rivian phone app to set up this driver profile: Profile icon (bottom nav bar) > "Manage account" > Sign out (top right corner).

I signed into the ElectraFi Rivian account on my phone, but it didn't seem to help. I wonder if PaaK is also needed, or there's some delay. Will check again tomorrow. Note that when you sign out your normal account, you unpair your PaaK. Don't get locked out.

@DrBad I got a response from ElectraFi support. We've gone through some basic troubleshooting with no success yet. I've given them my credentials to do deeper debugging over the next few days.

In the meantime, I've had success connecting to Home Assistant (not nearly as user friendly as ElectraFi however, and does not have feature parity).

@DrBad So looks like recreating the ElectraFi account fixes the issue somehow. You can delete your old account under settings->account->advanced.
