I don’t even see people really look at my truck here. SoCal is immune to noticing cool cars lol.

I don’t really care, I was just genuinely curious what the thought would be here since it’s a very different crowd than the standard BMW, Honda, whatever noise.

I would not do it, but its not my truck. I also wouldn't add the yellow to the tow hooks or wheels, but some people here have. Their trucks, their money.

I am curious if Rivian will "save" the yellow badges for the premium trim of future vehicles. Will the R2 get it, even though the top trim will have "only" three motors? Or will they just keep it for the R1.

The R2 and R3 they’ve been touring around the country have the yellow accents. Other than that it’s anyone’s guess how they’ll badge future models.

I could care less what someone else does with their own truck. Like everyone is saying, you do you.

On a totally separate note, please don’t park anywhere near me. ?

You can certainly do that but technically would be “down badging” since the top trim by $$$ is dual performance max pack, not quad.

So true. We do live in the auto capital of the world, in terms of what people own and drive.

We have a white R1S, because I didn't like the contrast that the front light bar and the headlights created against a dark body. I preferred the more monochromatic look. That said, there are so many white R1Ses in the hood, that I wished we had gotten the Canyon Red. There isn't one in our hood - lots of Forest Green, Black, Rvian Blue and Limestones though, in addition to the white.

Personally, I rather remove all logos and name letters. I know what I am driving.

I have a Dual motor R1T. I really love the yellow accents throughout the truck, especially on Limestone as it's a muted color. If I install the black/yellow exterior badging on my dual motor am I a fraud? Will you all roast and shun me? I need to know. :D
Only one way to find out.

Concept cars tend to loosely represent highest trim, so they put their best foot forward. Lower trims are then pared down and "back-casted" from there. Lower trims are almost never shown as concept show cars. Expect yellow accents to be top trim moving forward, and orange to be exclusive to X variants.

Since when is getting 25% less hp & having to pay $1000/kw an improvement?
