No setup for payment? Is that using Tesla's plug-and-charge, perhaps charging whatever card Rivian has on file?

Ouch, that's rough. Both the buggy software and charging speeds.
Hope rivian pushes updates ASAP for r2 owners.
Isn’t that charging speed in line with expectations? I admit I am not sitting through the video but seemed like 20(ish) to 75% in 20(ish) is what you’d expect, no?

Thanks for posting. This is a bit lower than what I expected: adding 54% in 22 minutes (180 EPA miles). Fwiw almost identical to the Subaru Trailseeker recent video posted.

The gap with the shorter range 800V systems like the Volvo P10 EX60 would add 225 miles in 16 minutes. The long range 800V systems (iX3, Volvo P12) add 280 EPA miles in 19-21 minutes.

Well this has me feeling good about being further back in the reservation line. Hopefully Rivian is working hard to debug the software.

Will definitely be improved with software. All versions of R1 have had massive improvements in charging speeds/efficiency since they were launched.

An important difference to some people for sure.

Honest question - Aren't the vast majority of chargers available nationwide 400v? And don't most sites that support 800v de-rate when multiple vehicles are present?

OP used the card on file, the charging started right away, displayed at 185KW starting from 20% SOC. The question is when did it derate for the charging curve and to what KW. I'm not watching that entire video to figure it out. On average, people DCFC 10 times a year (according to RJ). I don't see any of this as an issue.

Watching the video doesn’t reveal any info because the charge session screen bugged and never showed a curve. And also a large section was edited out of the video so we couldn’t see the current rate on the screen either.

Look at the comments under the video, and he posted a pic of the charging graph. Apparently it showed up after the charging session ended.
