I could be wrong but I use standard mostly because it seems the brake lights illuminate more frequently/easily in stop and go traffic. Although high is my jam.

High all the time. Although I heard low ,ight be better for range on road trips.

I use low. I tried high and just did not care for it.

I've been using high regen, but I am finding that I don't like the rapid deceleration when I take my foot off the pedal, especially in heavy traffic. I just keep aware of what is behind me. But I have quite mastered the one-pedal driving! That's become second nature to me. Love it!

High. I see no reason to make it coast just to feel like an ICE car.

However now I am a slow braker in an ICE car because I'm used to basically never hitting the brakes now.

I use high and like others would probably use higher if it existed. The only issue I have with it is repositioning my foot or leg. I'll do it without thinking and get a second of hard regen. I know I could hit cruise control or be very gentle but that isn't how it always goes.

I tried high for a couple months, now use low all the time…my truck’s more efficient in low than high. Makes no sense to me though

I use high when alone and low when my wife is in the car as she does not like the feeling of the high regen braking effect.
100% wife doesn't like the high regen feel.

When it comes to regen I'm of the "give me all you got"

I do wish that it did stop light detection and it could use optimized regen for stopping right before the line. That would neat.

Instead its up to me to modulate it so it stops right before the line.
High for me. I sort of weirdly enjoy the game of "Stop Sign Shuffleboard" where I try to lift off the accelerator at just the right spot so that the R1 comes to a full stop right at the sign using only regen.

21K miles on my R1T and I’ve been using high, with brake assist turned off. Now and then, I give the standard mode a whirl. But, so far, I have always ended up back on high. I have no issues with proper modulation in high mode.

I have a long commute. Longer than most people would tolerate.
Because of that, I notice A LOT of things about my truck that I think a lot of people would miss.

Once upon a time, I received a software update, which for some unknown reason, reduced my regen level from high.

I was halfway home when I started asking questions about why I was losing more range than usual...

TL;DR: high regen (no shocker here) means better recapture of energy, ergo, it's more efficient. If you don't have a very specific reason not to use high regen, you should probably be using high regen if you value efficiency.

Also, it's not hard to learn to modulate the throttle the same that you (at one point) had to modulate the brake (you don't SLAM on the bakes every time you use them, do you??)

In my unsolicited opinion, if you have been driving a vehicle capable of OPD for a period of time greater than (let's say) a month, and you can't modulate the throttle to slow gradually, precisely, and without being too 'jerky,' you just suck at driving.
It's like people who couldn't slip a clutch gradually and always had jerky shifts and jerky starts. It's OK, we're not all perfectly coordinated, but it is something you can work at (instead of blaming the vehicle). But that's just like...my opinion man!

I wonder if the behavior is different between Bosch and Enduro (which I guess would make sense). I have Gen 1 Dual, which is Enduro, and it's really smooth even on high.

I have been using high regen setting using AP drive mode for long time (2+ yrs). Couple of weeks ago, I decided to try out standard/middle regen setting, and found out that it's a lot easier to drive. The high regen mode requires rather steady pressure on accelerator to stay in the narrow pedal travel for coasting. It's much easier to achieve this coast in standard regen mode, and I haven't noticed any significant decrease in efficiency. I also haven't used brakes any more either, and the ride also seems smoother for passengers. I recommend giving it a try if you're on high all the time, and haven't already tried it.
I am using high regen on my R1S. More regen would be fine but it is perfect the way it is. My EV6 has less regen but I barely notice a change in how I modulate the electric pedal for it. It’s my wife’s EV6 and she uses it on max regen and loves it even though she doesn’t take well to new stuff. I rarely drive the EV6 and when I do it takes only a few minutes to get used to it. Either one is totally natural.

High vs. Standard regen and efficiency. I’ve often wondered if it really makes a difference, efficiency-wise, if one uses high or standard regen. At first thought, it seems high regen would recapture more energy. But, I’m not sure that is true. The same amount of energy is involved when slowing the vehicle down regardless of how one does it - brakes, regen or hitting a brick wall. Assuming the brakes are not used, does whether one uses high or standard regen really make a difference, efficiency-wise? Stopping the vehicle still involves scrubbing or recapturing the same amount of energy.
