Being on WiFi hasn’t helped me in the past. I’m hopeful that things have changed

If anything, I have the reverse problem - seem to get updates much later than most of the folks on the forum, despite being an end-of-first-wave delivery (Nov ‘22) after turning WiFi back on.

So once we're paying for connect +, will the priority updates put us in the same position as wifi connected vehicles? I hope so, since my R1S is pretty much never connected to wifi. Yes, I could connect it through my phone - but just a pain to do to maybe get an update earlier.

Yep the wifi trick works. Last update I waited two weeks, nothing. Connected to my home Wifi, and updated same evening.

For the update yesterday, received the notification it was ready on my phone within an hour of parking in my garage.

Same results with my R1T... LTE only, no update when others were getting it for over 3 weeks. I connected my R1T to my home WiFi, got the update the next morning.

Doesn’t make any difference. It’s always on WiFi at home.

I’m away for the summer and Wi-Fi is simply unavailable for me now. That said, I was late to the party for the last upgrade over LTE, and it worked great, finally. I suspect I will again be offered an update later than wi-fi users. Oh well.

I’m always connected to WiFi at home, and it has no impact on when I get the update. Always random if I’m first or last in line. No different for this one. Connected to WiFi for the last 48 hours and no update for me. All good though, I don’t mind waiting.
