R2 Demo Drive Scheduling is LIVE! Anyone book test drive yet?

Good tip.. I downloaded the app, but in the app it says R1T demo drive, but on the website it says R2 demo drive..Hmm.. I’ll give it a few hours.

Same issue with it showing R1T in the app. Am sure Rivian is working on it. This is like an iPhone launch!

I was having the same problem as everyone else above with it saying "demo not found" but it cleared itself up after about 30 mins and I was able to upload DL, etc.

Just seems like a traffic/timing issue.

Got everything loaded, of course it says R1, but based on info in this thread I am sure it will change to R2

I tried to schedule R2 demo drive with an Atlanta address this morning (10am ish), it invited me to schedule in Richmond, VA.

Apparently, their east coast HQ city is not a priority.

There are literally demos available tomorrow in Atlanta right now. The website is getting hammered and slots are being taken up, but also released, quickly. Keep checking.

Pretty shitty - I never got a notification nor was it available in my Rivian app, but I went to the website, didn’t even log in, and was able to select the R2 and book it for tomorrow.

I was offered “complete next steps” upload drivers license, waiver, etc.. but didn’t do that on the “its booked“ page..

Now I can see the R2 demo drive on my account page, date and time, but clicking on it takes me to a “reservation not found” page..

Anyone else having same?

Yes, it did this to me before AND after I completed the steps!

I tried to schedule Richmond and app said no r2 demos available in Richmond yet. Said same about Raleigh.

Fort Myers service center was showing plenty of appointments today and tomorrow as of this morning, nearly filled up now.

On PTO starting Friday, so will try to grab an appointment then, or just wait till I return and the initial rush dies down.
