Okay, I synced my liftmaster door easily just like the RJ video.

However, I can’t sync my commercial doors or my gate GTO/Pro/MightyMule. These are much simpler transmitters (318mhz) with no real security/rolling codes. When trying to pair it’s not registering that I’m pushing the button. I have paired these with homelink on other vehicles. Anyone else have success pairing these

if not, anyone smarter than me that can say if it’s a hardware limitation or software that might get update in future?

Corporate Rivian Lurkers (we know you’re here): would you please post a compatibility chart or parameters of what *should* work? I don’t want to clog up your great staff with something that’s a hardware limitation.

Definitely following this thread, I have a lot of commercial doors I interact with and would find great use for them to be opened by Alexa as I pull up ?

I dont have the 2022.15 OTA to tinker yet, they say I will get it s00n.

.15 hit for me a few days ago. Forget Alexa, just having four remotes and two LR RFID cards to fumble around with on regular basis gets annoying.

Some of those remotes don't continuously broadcast the code, they just do it once and done. It'll be hard to get the truck to duplicate that kind of a remote.

If that's the case, couldn't you just push the button a few times until the truck copies it?

I would think it could be made to work that way. I'm not very familiar with the hardware in the Rivian.

Not in my case. It’s continuous as long as you’re pushing the button.

Were you ever able to resolve this? I have a ghost controls gate opener that won’t pair.

No. I also asked the question to Rivian of what should even be spec’d to work and no response. That was a while ago.

looks like one of mine runs the same as yours (433.92mhz). So don’t expect it to work. I still don’t think it’s unreasonablefor Rivian to post a list of comparable spectrum/transmitters.

So my gate is 318mhz. Rivian said no support for anything at this frequency. Someone smarter than me can figure out if that can be fixed via software but the lowest they appear to support is 303mhz, so I’d presume software. They did confirm that they support a single opener at 433.92 but that’s “Marantec” and my opener won’t sinc even though it’s the same mhz but different brand.

If they are using a decent SDR, they should be able to support a wide range of frequencies. There may by hardware limitations, but I would imagine they are all currently software related.

Just tried programming Ghost Control Gate opener, and still no Joy.
Also Emailed Rivian for them to add support to the frequency of Ghost Controls.

Thank you fir trying to get this answered. Just got my R1T Have to drive through two gates multiple times everyday. I have been unable to program them in, thinking it was me. I sure hope it is software rather than hardware. Had trouble with my Tesla, but was able to ultimately go to take, I was hoping it was gonna be the same thing. It would be really interesting. If somehow we were able to figure out the specs of a transmitter each is using.
