Could be it, for sure. Here's the street view from August 2022. You can maybe already see some conduit or sign posts? Focus on the parking spaces next to the white van. Those are the ones behind Primitive Coffee.

Henderson, NC is under construction




Macon, GA has been found - probably under construction @Autolycus




Might have found Traverse City, MI. But not enough for me to back it up yet.

The Henderson NC one as of about 3 weeks ago was just waiting on the chargers and wiring. The conduit and electrical gear and paving has been completed for months.

Not the most convenient location for me but then again I likely won't need to fast charge that close to home often. Still will be happy to never have to hit that EA charger at Sam's Club ever again once this place goes live.

Looking a little further at some of the "Coming Soon" locations in the SE and a comparison with crowd-sourced data on actual sites (referencing the metro/general area):

Greenville, SC - known address under construction
Augusta, GA - permit pulled
Charlotte, NC - permit pulled
Savannah, GA - under construction
Blowing Rock, NC - permit pulled, possibly under construction
NE of Raleigh Durham along I95 - permit pulled

Others I don't have any info on but now encourage people interested in the area to do some more sleuthing (east coast only)

What is the best way to find info? The Ohio location appears to be in Strongsville, i've searched through their municipal planning minutes and other various committees and council meetings to no avail.

I ran across a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation application for the San Antonio RAN location at The Shops at LA Cantera. That's near my house so I did a little snooping and found what appears to be the location for six charging stations. The transformer is located behind the enclosure in the picture. The grass sod is still new looking so it must be pretty recent construction.

I ran across a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation application for the San Antonio RAN location at The Shops at LA Cantera. That's near my house so I did a little snooping and found what appears to be the location for six charging stations. The transformer is located behind the enclosure in the picture. Doesnt look like they've made any changes unfortunatly. Eager for it to be finished.

I expect they have a limited number of crews that install the equipment but hire local companies for the site work. Probably won't see anything else at the site until the day the crew shows up to install everything which should only take a week or less. I am by that location regularly and will give an update if I see anything.

Haven't seen anything on the SA service center but the person I talked to during my Austin test drive said he is looking for land for a house in San Antonio in anticipation of moving.

Turns out 3 out of the 4 Virginia sites have already been built (the civil part at least) without anyone noticing. I suspect the fourth is as well, but I have to find it first.































Summary:































In Roanoke, 9 stalls (according to the permit) have been built at the Earth Fare Market at 2203 Franklin Rd. Per the Street View from August, the pedestal bases had been installed but no frames were in.































































































In Waynesboro, 6 stalls have been built at the MARTIN’s Foods at 437 Tiffany Dr. Same status as Roanoke (from around the same time), pedestal bases installed, no frames.































































































In Front Royal, I presume 6 stalls are under construction at 55 Riverton Commons Plaza. I have no street view or inspections to confirm it but based on the fact the other two are under construction I’m gonna hedge my bets.































































For what it’s worth, the last location on Rivian’s map was not Fancy Gap, but instead some place I’ve never heard of before called Meadows of Dan. Apparently, the Blue Ridge Parkway crosses this town, which also led me to notice all 4 Virginia sites, Blowing Rock, and Cherokee are within a few miles of the BRP or its northern counterpart (Skyline Drive). Now it makes sense as to why Rivian was dodging the Interstate.































Based on the current trend, I’m fairly sure MoD has begun







construction if it isn’t already done.

I had lunch today where we presume is the RAN station in Meadows of Dan, VA, Its just like the other RAN stations on the East Coast. Conduit installed, just waiting on cabinets and final installation. 8 spots, 1 large enough for a trailer. Its behind a good little coffee shop (Primitive Coffee) with a wonderful porch. The coffee ship said the site hasn't been touched in several months.
Will this station or any others be activated while there is still free RAN charging? I don't feel confident.

Two other locations are coming soon to Lincoln City and Crescent, Oregon.

Found utilities tickets for both of them, although I haven't found any permits on the statewide.
