2022 Rivian R1T LE
Negative. Conserve mode physically disconnects the rear motors. It has nothing to do with lowering power. Permanent magnet motors need to have some small amount of power applied in order to "coast", so Rivian used a physical disconnect to eliminate that unneeded power draw. Unlike an ICE, horsepower doesn't mean inefficiency unless you actually use it.
It actually does both. Just like AP mode has about 85% of the power that Sport does, Conserve will limit the power available to the motors, HVAC, etc...

Is there a way to subscribe to beta releases? Not sure I'd want to....
Anyone who has a R1T or R1S is very much in the Beta program, whether they know it, or not.

Yes, sport has 20% more torque than AP according to RJ. But that's only if you put your foot down and use it. Otherwise it doesn't. With an ICE you have something like my Corvette with a 6.2L engine that requires a lot of fuel even under low-load conditions by virtue of its large displacement vs a 2L 4-cyl. Electric motors don't work that way...they only produce the power demanded of them at any given time. So if you act like you're in Driving Miss Daisy you'll get great range no matter what mode you're driving in. Drive like you're in Gone In 60 Seconds all the time and you'll get the opposite. :p

Not at this time.
There actually is and coded inside the mobile application...just not completed or feature flagged to be visible to us all yet. Though I've marked my vehicle as "beta" using this API, nothing has actually been pushed to them yet before everyone else (this pending release or last).

The below is from a modded version of the Android app that has all the hidden features enabled.

Yeah hasn't resulted in earlier update last build or this one. The plumbing is all there on the app side. They just need to use it on the truck update targeting side.

That is more than what my mobile client shows, but yes I and others have found the GraphQL query this experience makes to the servers. Likely the rollout targeting based on this isn't setup at all (or is completely manual).

They seem to never use the feature flags for end users and instead ship new capabilities only with updates but I modded the APK to give them all to me.

I was able to get it to show at the bottom of the software settings page one day in my mobile app and moved the slider to select participate in early releases, but it doesn't show up anymore. And I didn't receive the latest beta so it didn't work.

Android. It's hidden behind a feature flag that Rivian has to enable (unless you mod the app to enable it yourself).

Still not pushed :(
Honestly, I think this is a good thing. Maybe Rivian is finally taking a serious look at quality. I'd rather they delay a release so they can push something that works rather than continue at break-neck pace and release buggy junk.

Well it's either that or they found some massive bug in the beta version and have to fix it before they release it to the public. It might still have a few smaller bugs though. I really hope they fix the vampire drain when it's below freezing outside. Mine seems to be reasonable 0-1 miles overnight if it's in the 50s during the day and upper 30s at night. But when it's below freezing overnight and in the 30s for the high I get 5-10 miles lost.

Really? I had thought it was just a different throttle map, but same total output (if floored)....
