I had these issues Service center tightened up the hood release and added adhesive. Took care of everything.

For some this seems to be an easy fix, for others, myself included, apparently something additionally wrong. I've had it in twice and that's exactly what they did, but even when I drive home from the SC its still there. It's almost as if they don't even check to see if their fix worked.I had these issues Service center tightened up the hood release and added adhesive. Took care of everything.
after doing the ceramic coat on my hood this was me too.I haven't had any hood flutter issues but I am constantly distracted by the little puddles that form in the hood depression during a medium rain storm, which I then want to play with. Driving around town at 47 miles an hour causing accidents trying to combine all my hood droplets into an ur-puddle without spilling.
Mine did it with PPF. But it has been solid since they fixed mine with the adhesive.Curious, does anyone with PPF on the front of the vehicle have the hood flutter? I was wondering if that layer of PPF would/could act as a binder to limit/reduce flutter?
My vin is in the middle 104XX range.Interesting. What is your vin range? I wonder when the newer version of the hood went into production.
Yes, they painted the entire hood and it is a spot-on exact match. I'll need to get Quartz applied to the new hood, but I want to let that new paint cure a bit longer. They replaced the entire hood? How'd the paint match? I just put in a ticket to have it "fixed" for a third time now. It's gotten a little better but I'm but happy with the depression still.
Yes, I can get pictures this evening. Can you provide pics of the updated seal? My hood doesn't deform but it definitely flutters at highways speeds.
Quartz applied? that some kind of PPF? Sorry for my ignorance, i'm going to have to request this as they don't seem to want to actually fix my issue unless I help guide themYes, they painted the entire hood and it is a spot-on exact match. OK, here are the pictures of the new trim. It appears that the small sections of plastic that one could rotate with their hands at the front corners of the hood are now replaced with a continuous trim that prevents air from getting under the hood. Can you provide pics of the updated seal? I don’t have pictures of the original trim, but I know that i used to be able to rotate sections of the trim that were about 4” long at these corners previously. I’ve seen pics of that trim on the forums, but I couldn’t locate it.
