I saw the same on EA 350kw charger, it hit around 215 or 220 kwh for a minute or so, then taper off. If rivian's max is at 200kwh, is that means the number on EA station is inflated?
No - 200 kW is not an exact maximum. I saw this statement on a Rivian.com page: "Charging output of over 200 kW initially and 300 kW+ in the future."

Nearly every 150 - 350kwh charger I've used, assuming you've set location and your battery is prepped for rapid charge, starts out very fast then settles to around 130mph as per the screen estimates (and usually seems to stay at around 1 hr to charge. I don't even pay attention to these estimates as the charge time is always faster than that. My record best was from about 15% - 95% in 18 mins at the EA in Evanston, WY. I went into the grocery store there to kill some time and was quite stunned to see it was already slowing down as it approached full.charge. Bonus is that in WY and UT power is cheap, especially WY. It usually in the $13 - $15 range there for a teens % - 85%ish charge. While in California, this type of charge ranged from $35 - $45 at EA stations - quite pathetic. I don't intend on taking my Riv back to Cali, ever.
"... was from about 15% - 95% in 18 mins at the EA..."
Did you actually have it set to 95% maximum charge (if that's possible)? If you check the "Session Summary" email from EA it will state how long the session was, what the final State of Charge was, and how much energy (kWh) was delivered..
When I finally got a good charge going Tuesday (at EA), it charged from 39% to 65% in over 11 minutes, with a peak charge of 216 kW (from the Session Summary, although I briefly saw 217 kW on screen). Once it got above 50% SOC, it was throttling the charge rate (it throttled it more and more as SOC increased).
So, it went from 39% to 65% (difference of 26 percentage points) in 11.5 minutes. It would have taken much, much longer to get to a state of charge 30 percentage points higher than that (95%). BTW, I did precondition the battery, so I was able to get the high rate early, but I don't think there is any way to continue to get a high rate as you pass 60 & 80% SOC (if it did continue at high rates, it would probably be deleterious to the battery).

It was last summer, late at night. It was certainly throttling down and I just unplugged it to get back on the road. It may have been 92% vs. 95%, but starting was definitely in the teen %s and final was over 90%. It was only the 2nd time I'd used a DCFC. Like I'd said, it appeared to be a one off and this type of charging usually takes me 30 - 40 minutes in many DCFC charges since then.

R1T and a couple of Germans
I have had my R1T for about six weeks (my first EV). It has often taken a couple of attempts to get a DCFC started, but today was different.
I had an out-of-town job to do this morning, so I stopped by my local EA charge station on the way out of town. After trying 4 of the 8 chargers multiple times each ("connecting" and "reconnecting"), and talking to EA customer support, where she tried to initiate a charge, I moved on to a couple of EVgo stations, but couldn't charge at those stations either. Finally it occurred to me that I'd had seen a discussion on the forum where someone had mentioned doing a reset, while in a similar situation. So I tried a reset (left-most steering wheel button and the hazard button). After that, the second attempt started charging (still at EVgo). Then I went back to the EA station I had started at (for the better price); the first attempt began charging (I charged it up to 70% without further incident).
It cost me a day's work, since it was too late to complete the out-of-town job, by the time I had resolved the problem. But I learned something, which might save me in a similar situation.
And I hope someone else will see this, and remember it, in case it happens to him/her.

Edit: I knew that at least two of the EA chargers were functional, because other people charged using those chargers while I was there. But when I switched to the charger after they had left, I was still unable to connect.
I recently heard a trick that has totally changed how successful my charging attempts at DC fast charges are: turn off your HVAC system in the Rivian. It seems that the extra power draw causes errors to pop up. Since changing this little step about 10 days ago, I have had 100% success rate at DC fast chargers.

Theoretical max right now is around 220kW, but I typically see the vehicle start to taper around 215-216kW.

1:18 sounds about right for that other guy that charged up to 95%. Not 18 minutes, literally impossible even if his truck was maxed out the whole time. I think this charge ended up being to 93%. Normally I wouldn't stick around that long but I was napping.

I've learned from similar experience, if two chargers don't work, immediately reboot the truck and try that before going through the hassle of calling EA. Unlikely that two chargers won't start charging when the screen says "plug in first", thus means it's usually something with the truck. So far, that's worked each time. If at some point it doesn't, that's when I'll call EA to see if it's on their end.

they need to build more Ran first before charging Rivian owners to be honest.
