Affordable Winter Wheels Setup: Ram 2363

You know it! We stomp around the 24s and 23s all the time with hikes and mushroom hunting.

I've got some buddies wanting to cross from 23 to 22 for Wynoochee Lake Friday, have you done that way before?

Been up Washington and Ellinor many times! Only done that area for climbing and know nothing of 23/22. Take pics

Sadly I haven't had much luck finding any 2363 wheels. I've resorted to ask my buddy in New Jersey to check for me. Lots of junk yards in that area.

Here are a couple of dumb questions:
- Why wouldn't the other Ram 1500 20" wheels fit?
- Wouldn't the assumption be aftermarket options for the Ram 1500 20" also fit?

Is the issue the brake caliper clearance? Or is it something else?

Indeed, clearance. Moreso up front, there's a lot of room in the rear. It's tight but works.

If it is brake clearance, there are quite a few used "TRX" or "Hemi" OEM wheels in 20" or larger made for Ram trucks which then sound like they could fit due to those vehicles' larger calipers.

But I guess we don't know anything about offset at this point. It would take lots of trial and error (someone with a Rivian trying a bunch of stuff randomly haha).

That's the wrong wheel and definitely does NOT fit. I recognize it by the rounded spoke. It's very common and someone did test it, apparently it doesn't clear the front caliper. Between the offset and the thickness of the spoke, it's a no go.

Almost jumped on this one until I noticed the “cutouts” between the spokes. I now know the spokes are completely flat all the way to the edge. But gotta look out for small differences like this….unless this may fit?

Well, these are new to me. I can't find anything on them, but they're pretty similar. Wanna give them a go and report back? If you try one front wheel, you'll immediately know if it fits.

Isn’t that a 17” wheel? Tire size isn’t clear but sure looks like 17 to me.

After scouring FB Marketplace for a few days I scored a set! Drove an hour to the Los Angeles area and picked them up from a guy who only spoke Spanish. Paid $450. Was listed for $500. I probably could have gotten him to $400 but he was a nice guy so I was fine with it. Google Translate was awesome lols.

They are on 275/60/R20 Michelin LTX AT2 tires with an M+S rating. Not sure of age or anything but I do know one of them has a hole in it. My intention is to replace them with something else, but I'll see what my options are.

3 wheels are good and one of them has a slightly scratched face. Debating if I want to spend money on powdercoating them. We'll see.

I'm not used to how large truck/SUV tires are (I've always been a sports car guy) so when I saw these in person I was shocked. Barely fit in the R1S since I had a baby seat in the 2nd row haha. But I made it fit.
