Is it just me, or does Scaringe look to be 6' 8". He clearly is way taller than the clay model behind him.

I was thinking about waiting for a R2 but after seeing a Cybertruck in real life, I hate to admit it but it's sexy af. I don't really tow things or off road that much so my needs are more for a daily driver truck with an occasional weekend getaway trip.

I can't afford their early foundation series models but gonna wait until the regular versions come out.

Looks are subjective. I saw an RC on the road here in NorCal and I always crashed because I started a throwing up in my mouth.

Haha yea looks are subjective of course. CT's look is polarizing and definitely not for everyone.

I just wish Rivian's cars had a little more edge to them.

I asked an AI to create a Rivian R2S. This is what it did.

Let’s hope AI doesn’t design the R2 then. It looks like a Charger and a Jeep had a baby.

I've seen the same one driving around Fremont….I agree, it looks weird….give it a few years. The people that drive those will be pointed at and asked questions upon questions

Is there even going to be ab R2T? Everything seems to be about the SUV.

The maverick has been pretty popular but I don't know how big the market is in the USA for a small Ute. Maybe EU.

I think there will be. I would put it like the Toyota TUNDRA (R1T) and the Tacoma (R2T). There is a market for a smaller truck.

Your username already tells us that you would think the CT is sexy AF and would say it that way.

I personally really don't think they will come up with a smaller truck since R1T is already smaller than the full size pickup; the market is just not big enough out there. R2, I wish, will be a crossover or hopefully an e-bike; and I'll buy both.

Maybe. The R1T is already Tacoma sized, just a few inches shorter. So an R2T would be like the size of the Maverick. Not sure Rivian wants to get in that market. I can see them coming out with an R2S only. That's where the money is in the US.
