Shop them all. If GA is anything like FL, apply lube while doing so.

State Farm . I don’t have an Rivian yet, but have gotten a good quote. I have been with them 37 years and have a few policies.

Same here... Although my understanding is they are no longer selling insurance in CA. I guess we are grandfathered in, but might have trouble adding new vehicles in the future.

I have Progressive. Only have two other cars plus the Rivian. I was was surprised by how cheap it was to add the R1S. Probably because it is an SUV. But to add it, it only cost an additional $450 per 6 months. It’s full coverage but I do have a high deductible ($2,500); I hate dealing with insurance so unless it’s above $5,000 in damage, I would not go through insurance, thus my high deductible. They always get you back with higher rates if you use it, anyways.

USAA in MD here although I'm going to be shopping around this year since I added the R1S and my son this past year so my payment jumped through the roof.

I just went through getting quotes for home+auto just to see how the market is. I'm currently through State Farm and found that the independent insurers and credit unions were much better on the auto quotes (most used Citizens or Auto Owners) than State Farm but the home insurance was about 50% higher than my current. Rivian (Nationwide) was $600/yr more than current auto coverage, LibertyMutual was almost a wash but a little on the high side. So I am still through State Farm.

I may be the only one who selected the Rivian recommended Nationwide. It was an option when finalizing my purchase. I secured the policy when I bought my R1T last year. I have my other 7 vehicles bundled with USAA, however they couldn't touch the rate that Nationwide quoted.

My wife and I are shopping around too, as our current insurance for everything is terminating coverage in Washington starting in June. That was a nice surprise a week and a half after getting our R1T...

We couldn't get Geico to quote us a bundle for home/auto/RV - how did you pull that off? Or did they give you individual quotes then a bundle discount?

I had AMICA, and they were great, now I have Farm Bureau. AMICA wouldn't insure my farm tractor so I had to switch companies. AMICA was great though while I had them.

Geico. it was the cheapest around. I had progressive which was becoming too costly at each renewal.
