They come out of Canada, I got the shipping notice on mine last week went through customs from Ontario. Its a good 2-3 weeks from order date to ship. Might be longer now due to demand
I ordered on 3/15 and requested an update yesterday:

Your order will be leaving next week, you will receive a tracking number by then. It will take 1 to 5 business days to arrive at your home with UPS. If there is anything else we can do for you please let us know.

This jives with the stated 10-15 days lead time.

I will also note, they have answered my questions via email consistently within 24 hours or so which is refreshing.

I have a question about this device regarding the manual lock on the NACS side. Since there's a chance we will have to "occupy" two spaces (we're parked in the space to the right of the charger and using the charger to the left of the parked spot). What prevents someone with a Tesla from parking in that "open" space, unlocking and unplugging our charger to use it in their space.

I know from an etiquette perspective that's not a cool thing to do, but maybe taking up two spots can be viewed as bad etiquette.

Thanks!
Tim

I believe nothing stops anyone from disconnecting the NACS cable from any of the adapter you decide to go with.

The vehicle will only lock the CCS port / adapter in place automatically. The NACS port can be unlocked manually which will stop charging.

They've been upfront about the manufacturing origins of their adapter :

Caught their interview on State of Charge on YouTube, where they laid it out plain and simple: their adapters are made in China, no different from what Tesla and Lectron have going. A2Z has been quite transparent through the whole process, maybe too much?

After scrolling through your posts, got curious and dialed them up, aiming to chat with someone up the chain. A short wait later, and I'm on the line with the CEO, picking up some solid info :
- A2Z EV is owned by A2Z Canada Inc., a Canadian company
- A2Z EVSE is owned by A2Z Canada Inc and Olink
- Olink is their Chinese registered company

- A2Z EV is for regular customers
- A2Z EVSE is for large businesses

I decided to place an order for the A2Z after speaking with him, transparency is a win for me. Honestly, I encourage everyone to give them a call if you have questions, these guys are awesome!

I am not sure it makes me feel better you got the ceo on the phone and he and the time to make a deal pitch….

Will be interesting to see who is at fault if one of these fails givem Rivian has been pretty explicit to use third party adapters.

I don’t want to be a wet blanket but it won’t be your warranty and may not be your insurance liable.

Just another shoutout to A2Z. Even if I don't need my charger adapter by the time I get it, they are an awesome company. Had a concern with my order and they called me back to discuss and they were very transparent about it being Made in China and level set expectations with me (no BS). Need more companies like this who understand the concept of customer experience.

The A2Z guys are extremely busy, as you can imagine, right now as a small business dealing with this. I'm sure they'd love to join in here at some point, but when I'm getting messages from them at 10p on the west coast when they are in Quebec, you know they are burning the candle from the center out....

Here we are!

Just wanted to drop in and say we’re here for you all, ready to chat and help out on the forum whenever you need.

Let's clarify something:
We have stock, we receive inventory almost everyday and we ship hundreds of orders daily since the 5th of January. Over a thousand Ford owners are already using our adapters on Tesla Superchargers since the 29th of February.

Now, about the wait time for this adapter—it's taking 2-3 weeks to ship because we've got a ton of orders to handle, we’re super strict about checking each adapter (yep, every single one gets inspected and tested in China and Canada), and our shipping team isn’t huge. But don’t worry, we’re on it! We’re thinking about bringing more folks on board to speed things up. Just hang tight, we’re getting there and improving how fast we can get these adapters out to you.

As a side note, we are the only company currently shipping NACS to CCS1 adapters, the only one...

Can confirm A2Z is an awesome company to deal with. I messed up something up on my order, which I placed Monday. Sent an email to A2Z this afternoon, after their business hours, and they answered almost immediately and took care of my concern.

Of note to those thinking about ordering the adapter: Despite the huge demand right now, they confirmed the adapter will still ship in two to three weeks, which was a big relief.

When will Tesla and Rivian say it's okay to use your adapter?
