I got the opt in email today, bought my 2022 used two weeks ago. I don’t how Rivian sequences their VINs, did they start from zero? Mine is 010287.

Is there a 10-30 outlet? Or another 220 circuit you can buy an adapter for?Well I will be staying at a camping lodge, I doubt they have nema 15-50 that I can use.
honestly, not that I know of. I am hopeful for a 110 outside. Is there a 10-30 outlet? Or another 220 circuit you can buy an adapter for?
That's the beauty of NACS. There's no distinct way of knowing what kind of current comes out of the plug. If you only ever use it on Tesla stations, it's pretty easy, but they won't be the only ones with the connectors going forward. You will have to make an educated guess.RECOMMENDATION: Add graphics that allow users to discern which kind of NACS charger they are looking at, and an instruction on how to figure it out if they're not sure.
Exactly my point, @Dark-Fx! This is "beautiful" if you drive a native NACS vehicle, because you don't have to figure it out. If you drive a non-NACS vehicle and need a NACS adapter, you WILL need to figure out whether that NACS plug has DC or AC power. Figuring it out will be difficult without a standard, but drivers of native NACS vehicles won't need to figure it out and won't need a standard, so why should you make a standard that will only help a shrinking segment of EV owners????That's the beauty of NACS. It has to be Strictly VIN, the more experiences I read about (like ours). Or, more likely manufacture date, to factor in R1S/R1T in a fair way.I got the opt in email today, bought my 2022 used two weeks ago. I don’t how Rivian sequences their VINs, did they start from zero? Mine is 010287.
Y'all are talking about opt-in, not address confirmation, right?I got mine used (Demo) from Rivian 3 weeks ago and just got my email last night. VIN 10264 here!
Our trucks may have been made on the same day with VINs that close ?
Yes, opt-in for my truck.Y'all are talking about opt-in, not address confirmation, right?

You should probably call customer service and check. When I did for my dad after the first batch of emails went out to people, they were able to opt him in manually, but I doubt they would have caughht it if I hadn't called them to check.Hmmm my 95xx vin August 2022 delivery and no email. Looking at others who have gotten emails I wonder if I am someone who was someone missed
Maybe Rivian should send another e-mail out to those that haven't clicked through their opt-in links in case they just missed it the first time. You should probably call customer service and check. I don't see why that would be the case, J3400 is an SAE standard now. Tesla doesn't have anything to do with it except providing a lot of chargers on J3400.Today, Kyle Connor says many EV manufacturers now see Tesla as so unreliable they're considering the option of sticking with CCS-1 as their DC Fast charging standard.
