They already do. rivianring.com
Thanks for that info. More Rivian owners should be made aware of it, if they're not already. (They should also put a bit of PPF where they tap their ring to prevent scratching. There are some for Tesla.)

(I don't use one for our Teslas, because I use the phone, but I do know those who do use the ring and like it for its convenience.)

Man... back when I needed to get replacement cards, they were $50 each and $50 for programming. I bought my truck used and it didn't come with any keycards, so that was an unexpected expense right off the bat.
Which is completely nuts because when I bought my wristband last summer from an ebay seller, Rivian added it to my profile and paired it to my R1T for free and no Svc Center of Mobile Tech visit required. It took 1 phone call and they did the rest behind the scenes without any fuss, it was paired to my R1T within 2hrs of my phone call. That is how it should be, no-nonsense and no charge to do it.
Rivian's prices for commonly needed accessories are crazy high, look at what Tesla currently charges for a set of 2 cards and a fob...

With Tesla you don't need to tap the ring itself to the side pillar. People are doing it wrong if that's what they're doing.

Let me rephrase, it's not necessary at all to physically tab/touch the ring itself to the pillar. No contact necessary.

You just tap your ring finger knuckle to the glass. BTW I'm a big fan of PPF, has nothing to do with being against it. All my cars are fully wrapped from head to toe with Xpel films.

You might look like you are trying to hump the car door handle.
It is what it is, if it works better than PaaK. Maybe my running boards should make it less awkward? ?

This looks brilliant - considering doing the same.

Any updates on longevity?

The ring? a month shy of 1 year, my CNICK ring is working fine still. However, ever since most recent OTA my truck takes a little longer to wake up in general, for any of the keys. Wearing it, it's safe to wash hands with ordinary soap. Remove it if you use alcohol-based sanitizers. Make sure hands are dry of the sanitizer before you put the ring back on.
