Gen2 NACS Adapter Opt-In

Just received my opt-in email for the NACS adapter. Picked up my Gen2 on August 10th, so pretty quick turn around. Anyone else who has ordered recently, Gen1 or Gen2, receive their opt-in email yet?

We're all waiting on the next email after opting in. Most of us have been waiting many months already, with many more months to go. Don't get your hopes up for receiving a free adapter anytime soon.

Gen1 owner here, Nov '22 delivery. Time from 1st email to 2nd was about 3 months, with delivery within 2 weeks of that 2nd email.

So once you've opted in, assume 3-ish months to receive it, though apparently they are scaling mfg and getting them out quicker.

That 3 months is going to be a lot longer since the original opt in email was April.

We picked up our Gen2 on 8/10 and I received my opt-in email today 8/27. Based on this and other threads, I'm guesstimating I should receive the adapter by year end.

I purchased an A2Z Typhoon and used a few times on a longer roadtrip this past weekend. It works fine but I have to tip the departure angle of the Tesla Supercharger handle quite a bit and use a lot of force to separate it from the adapter. The storage case is a nice touch.

I'll keep the A2Z as a backup and will likely need for 2024 fall and holiday travel but plan to use the "official" version when it eventually arrives.

You still have a lot of Gen 1 ahead of you. Maybe you’ll get your adapter by the end of 2025.

I think darn near everyone got an opt-in email today. It even had a typo saying you needed to opt in by Aug 2, haha. I'm a Gen 2 delivered end of July and I have a family member who got a Gen 2 picked up last week and we both got emails today. Actual delivery is still a massive wild card.

It's been almost 5 months since I got my first email. Still no second email. Expect much, much longer than 3 months.

Just got a new 2022 R1T Monday, Aug 19th, (last week) and today received an opt-in e-mail.

Gee Wally, it says to click by Aug 2nd. but the e-mail was sent Aug 27??? Silly e-mail, just links to a webpage with a single button to click. As if there might be someone who would not want a free NACS adapter?

July 10th delivery of Gen2, received adapter email today. Honestly, a lot quicker than I expected. A2Z is supposed to arrive tomorrow after a 6 week wait

We had n April, 2023 Factory Delivery (Vin: 224xx). We are still way down the list for the adapter from Rivian. We want to do some road travel. We have an A2Z adapter on order.

I picked up my Gen 1 on 7/29 and got the opt-in email yesterday. And yes, it erroneously says you need to opt in by August 2nd lol

After a few months wait (early April), I got the email that I should receive mine within 60 days (by providing my delivery address.)
For reference, I was a March '23 delivery.
