What about any connections from that SAE connection other than solar? Would love to use 12V cigarette lighter out or USBC out from a variety of battery systems I have.

I see where it is recommended not to use a tender greater than 3 amps. Is there a minimum amperage recommended for the tender? I have a 12 volt 750 mA tender I used for my ATV. Would this be sufficient?

The tender has cut back the SOC range loss to one mile a day. That said, it truly is a very sad day to see a battery tender on my R1S dash, green lights and all, connected to the OBD port and tethered to an extension cord coming out of the driver window and plugged into the wall. Such a shameful state of affairs. Indeed, an $80,000+ SUV needs a band-aid tender to reduce vampire drain.

Next to this SUV, my beloved Model Y Performance, about half the price of an R1S today, sleeps, sleeps, and sleeps like the proverbial baby, losing at most 1 mile of range every 5 days. Sad, Rivian. Just sad.

Yup, same setup as I have, I also added a flat odb2 extension that routes under the floor mat for easier connection

I just found out the extension cable caused issues, the car seems to not sleep as long and staying in idle state , took out the extension cable and everything went back to normal (long period sleeps and brief idles), might have to do with the gauges of the flat extension wires? not really sure why the extension cable didn't work, sorry for the wrong suggestion
