A backup camera at the top of the tailgate like a truck. I towed with mine every week and the camera angle is terrible compared to a real truck. The flat viewing surface rather than the typical look down angle makes hitching up slower. Definite first world bitch since all my older trucks had no cameras so you just went for it and figured it out.

600mi range and 2000hp aside, what is the one little thing that you wish you could change?

Mine is probably the fact that I cannot adjust the fan speed when the rear climate display is up. Sometimes it defaults to rear climate because I have to go into the interface to turn in on for the kids at the start of the ride, but later I tap the climate to turn the fan up/down and I can't do that until I tap back to the front. Why? Meanwhile, there's this entirely useless "schedule climate" button that I can't even press while driving, same with Pet mode (can only be tapped when parked). Seems like an inefficient use of screen real estate.

I wish Rivian would not give up on refining and adding functionality to Gen1 ADAS. The driver+ implementation sucks ass, even in major interstates with the frequent and sudden blaring alarms to take over because there’s no road data or whatever. Plus, no basic auto steering on 4 lane highways that have crossings or turning lanes.

These are all software only so I would call them “minor”:

Valet Mode:

• Locked in conserve mode, 35mph max
• Display locked on camera app
• No audio except for alerts
• Back doors, tonneau, tail gate, center console, drawer/camp speaker all stay locked
• Only front windows can roll down.
• Charge port lock and it’s door stays unlocked, even if doors are locked.
• If car moves more than a mile from the place it was activated, alert from the app
• Activate/Deactivate valet mode from app or PIN on display
• HVAC on defrost/defog mode only unless activated from app
