Wife received email yesterday, LE R1S (VIN 3XX) and it looks like they’re adding to our upcoming mobile on the 12th, which is great, because the Hudson staff is awesome, but driving nearly 4 hours each way, is not.

Can you let me know if they actually do it during your mobile appointment? If they do, I'll make sure my mobile tech gets lined up to do it for me (I'm five hours away from my nearest service center, but at least they have a mobile tech assigned/based out of my area...).

I also got the notice yesterday. The only time they have dealt with my suspension was last September. I had it in for something else and mentioned that I thought the suspension was a bit noisy/clunky under some conditions. We did a drive and the tech said it sounded normal, but they replaced my ting washers.

When I bring it in I want them to check the air suspension. The compressor seems to come on more and more randomly during drives, and a few months ago the truck sat in my garage for over 2 weeks without driving and I noticed when returning that my right front suspension had dropped probably a couple inches.

Did anyone with two R1s get the email this week?

My email mentioned my R1S as the impacted vehicle, but after setting up the appointment, I was told there was no recall for the R1S. I then had them check my R1T and they confirmed that it was impacted.

May just be an email template issue with pulling in the wrong vehicle, but I was wondering if anyone else had the same issue.

I did not, but our R1S is the only Gen1 we have and my Tri hasn't been in for service at all since it's brand new anyway. I find they struggle a bit with service requests and appointment clarification when you have 2 R1's.

Took mine in for recall. 2022 R1T, 69000 miles. I was sitting in lobby and got a ping on the iPad for a loaner car. I was like…what…?? Just then service guy from Hazelwood MO came over and said…”yeah we are gonna need to keep yours”. BTW the Hazelwood MO folks are great at the service center. Took me back to get items from truck I needed. They stated the bolt had actually bent into a boomerang shape. The are ordering parts to repair(looks like hub needed replaced as well based on app update w service appointment). Gave me an Ioniq 5 as loaner ..it’s an ok car and will be fine. i just took a 1000 mile trip before so needless to say…good it didn’t snap then. Must be damn good bolts.

My vehicle is at the shop with some rear alignment problems. Vehicle not flagged for repair, but rear disconnects and axles were replaced last summer. At first the service advisor just claimed “the vehicle is not flagged” but when questioned further the techs are looking at it. My thought process is that if a tech accidentally took off the toe link when they didn’t need to, then reinstalled it incorrectly, the vehicle would have a problem opaque to Rivian. We will see how it shakes out.

Alas, no, I have to bring it to Hudson in a couple weeks, but I need the 3 year brake flush too, so I’ll do them at the same time.

I haven't had mine done yet, but in the initial message in the app (before I scheduled) and in the letter Rivian mailed it mentioned the service takes about an hour. I've seen others on this forum confirm it.

Maybe. They generally don't start on a vehicle at the appointment time though. That time is just when you drop it off. Some locations, like those in CA that are really busy, may let the vehicle sit for a few days before touching it. All that to say I wouldn't bet on it getting done same day.
