Hmmm....I am glad we are making progress. I also applaud Lukas for his hard work on this project. I happily handed over ($350 or $450) for early edition long harness. However, now that the design was fully revamped to a two panda harness, some of us are looking at spending more on harnesses than the entire Comma 3X unit. It would be nice if the early adopters were recognized by a discount of some kind.

It was mentioned that there would likely be a discount for current long harness owners, but nothing official has been said details wise.

The Comma 3 isn't supported any more, but the 3X is nearly identical to the 4 internally.
Right, sorry. Should have been more specific. I have the 3X. Safe to assume then that this harness will work?

Not 100% sure, but I'm in the same boat and feel confident enough to order when available.

Yep, it'll work on the 3X as well! I've tested it myself.
Slightly off topic, but do we know if the upcoming eGPU shown at CommaCon will be supported by the 3X?

Totally agree. I'll never say "never", but I will say that any future additions of Pandas will probably come with very diminishing returns.
It's truly amazing how much they can do with that tiny integrated camera on the windshield, but in a year or two I wonder if we'll be wanting to process the vehicle side/rear camera feeds or aftermarket lidar or V2X.

Shorter term I'd still love more and better direct control of comma features through the steering column stalk and buttons, and maybe better syncing of driver display set speed. Not sure what of that would need new harnesses. Certainly agree value of these pieces are far less than enabling angle or longitudinal.

Remind me to bug y'all when I'm back from a trip next week... After a couple "what the actual fuck" moments with Highway Assist this week either hugging the yellow line into the shoulder bumps, or nearly sideswiping a semi, during good weather in areas it used to operate well, I'm pursuing other options.

Any updates on the Lukas angle based steering upgrade, when it will be available?
