He badly needs an editor.
Nah I kinda like his unedited, rambling vids. I can fast forward as needed. They feel less like a press review and more like I’m along for the ride and part of the conversation.

But I’m someone that loves watching YouTube travel/lifestyle vlogs so that’s my speed lol.

I get that- I was a broadcaster for many years so sometimes certain styles hit me like nails on a chalkboard... love his passion, he just loves to hear his own words a bit much for me ;)

I enjoyed the Savagegeese review, but I must've missed something. What was the comment in the title about--easier to pitch a tent?

Love that they gave SG access as well! The segment with the chief engineer is very informative. @DuoRivian

The stamped steel subframe displayed is a significant downgrade...but given the goal of cost cutting to get base $45k model it makes sense. At $70k+, not so much..

One thing I tend to "discount" as a 4 years now R1T owner, is the software and interface experience. It's so easy to deal it compared to others EV manufacturers (I have no experience with Tesla).

Still excited for the R2 and what will do for Rivian as a company.

I was waiting to see who was going to say this first on here 🤣

look at everyone else, short and well edited content - for me? I threw this together at 1am and just left all the footage in lol

I won’t let the Rivian forums influence our content 😆

We do have editors but they handle most of our other channels - I tend to edit most of my own stuff. Nice news with this one is you really don’t have to watch my video - I’m sure there are other reviewers who discuss everything I talked about!
Out of Spec channels have consumed a zillion hours of my time over the years!

Anyone find any sound system testing in these reviews?
Kyle said good not great. Bluetooth was lacking but Apple Music sounded pretty good. Biggest problem is the bass. No surprise to R1 owners. I've only watched Kyle's review so there may be other but it will take hours to watch them all (and I probably will!).

Has anyone come across and mention of efficiency during any of the reviews? Just curious if anyone has commented on it yet.

I agree, just back from my test drive. The sub is located somewhere in the lower dash, I felt it washed out the mids/Highs being so close to it and yes, there's a significant drop off around 20 (system goes to 30). Seems it would of been better to have it at the rear of the vehicle. It sounded good for sure, but not great like Model Y.

Didn't see that anyone posted this one yet...first "comparison" video between the R2, 4Runner, and Model Y:
