Seems like something changed. Anything in the update notes?Just jumping in to say that we also got the 12v battery warning on Saturday after installing the hotfix.

You could be correct but I did not want to chance it being 3k miles from home.I went in to the RIDE menu and reset the warning. There is something wrong with the software update not our batteries. Too high of a percentage of people got this warning within 2 to 3 days of installing the last update. Something is fishy.
I probably would have made the same call if I was so far from home. Fortunately I was in my garage and have a spare vehicle that I could use. As posted previously, still haven't heard from Rivian on the service request I put in on Sunday. Can't wait to see how all of this shakes out and if there will be a remedy for everyone whose battery is prematurely replaced assuming that's the final resolution. You could be correct but I did not want to chance it being 3k miles from home.
I got the same warning message last night "replace 12v battery". 2022 R1T - this will be the second time I will need these replaced.Got the “replace 12V warning last night”, first available appointment was in over a month. I dropped a text in the app that night and in the morning Louisville co sc messaged back to say they can see me that same morning! They were done two hours later. It helps that I live a few miles away from that SC and, other than the cost, I am very happy with that outcome.
Nice, I'll consider switching to these in a couple of years since I just had mine replaced. Is there special installation process need to follow to keep the car from registering faults?I installed my two Ohmmu Sodium‑Ion batteries a couple of days ago. If you’ve got an active on‑screen notification like the one below, you’ll likely need Rivian to clear it. Hard resets won’t do it. I had mine reset this morning for $56.75.
Rivian will warranty the OEM lead‑acid battery for 2 years/24 months, so that’s the one upside to sticking with their forklift‑spec battery setup. But why anyone would choose 100‑year‑old lead‑acid tech in a Rivian is beyond me.
I’m also running the Bluetooth battery monitor on mine. YMMV.![]()

See Ohmmu channel on YouTube for their old installation videos on Rivians. For clearing codes, forum search RiDE service menu.Nice, I'll consider switching to these in a couple of years since I just had mine replaced. How much is total ?Mobile service just left after replacing both of my Gen1's 12v batteries. That's a spendy visit even with the "duplicate labor" discount. Now it's running the SW update it wouldn't do with the 12V warning active...
I used the Ohmmu video for the install and had zero codes. The only challenge was the need for Rivian to reset the aforementioned notification. The 12V notification is new from a OTA's from a few months ago. Install is straight forward.Nice, I'll consider switching to these in a couple of years since I just had mine replaced. They gave me no discount, even though I mentioned others were. I walked out of the service center, and I’m getting the ohmmu sodium batteries. How much is total ?
For me they gave $259 discount (one free battery) total $518
