They should definitely have a "screen cleaning" mode. It could be as simple as click button and the screen goes black and ignores touch for 2 minutes and then comes back on. Or not go full black but have a black background and a dark gray number countdown so you know how much longer you have.

Good idea. I just went and scoured settings and then had to go to owners manual to see that the "Home" position is saved in the Navigation app.

Mine is set correctly in the Favorites section under Home.

Is anyone else seeing this? I park in the Garage and would rather not have the truck lock at home, does Gear Gard not work at home if set up that way?

Just got my first (seemingly) random alarm.

Same just happened to me about 15 min ago. Went out to the truck and there was a motion cam video showing the lights flashing and literally nothing anywhere near the truck (it was in a garage). First time I've ever had that happen and just did the update last night.

Gear Guard only works if the truck is locked, but will work without proximity.

After multiple driving sessions, I am happy to report that my AC isn't screaming anymore upon first start up since I updated the software. I never had an issue with the AC until the previous software update. And yes it is hotter than hell down here in Texas. Loving my R1S and the software team for continually to raise the bar and address any unforeseen software issues.

Opal just completed her update. She is now officially 2023.26. i Timed it and it did take the whole 65 minutes.

I have PAAK turned off because it started to annoy me. But damn it took forever to unlock my truck today via the app. It was literally faster to get frustrated waiting, give Gary the bird, walk back inside, grab the fob, walk back out and unlock with the fob! (The app was still spinning trying to unlock the truck!)

My understanding is that Camp Off turns the screen off, but it turns back on when touched. Cleaning the screen obviously requires touching the screen.

I think the screen stays off until brake is pressed.
