I believe you can do it with Android, too. I don't personally because I'm old, and I believe the other party can just wait a damn minute before I reply.
I thought I was nuts, couldn't find it anywhere and just realized this thread is 5 pages of nothing. What a buzz kill, I thought I could finally have Shazam as a native app to tell me what song is playing.
Turns out my theory was wrong, damn lol.
I do have 4 kids and when they were doing sports I stayed and watched them and participated in helping the coach if asked. I was an involved parent....but then again, to each his own. I just think there are more important updates that should come first like messaging and Sirius XM.

I'm sure they were some fine athletes. Setting aside the irrelevant, though not surprising morality tale, and getting back to actual reality, there's really no good reason casting, messaging, and XFN should not all be sorted at this point, or any evidence that releasing one is holding back development of the others.
Has your (@Killer95Stang ) shared anything they know about Google Cast/Youtube? I wonder if it means ad-free cast but what I would really like (hope/dream) is to have premium content on other devices at home. Our home is part of a "Family" premium membership that's already $6 a month just for Youtube. I'd happily take this instead
When I saw it working he opened his standard YouTube app on his phone and it worked flawlessly. It isn't a stand alone youtube app on the Rivian interface, it is actually casting what you already have one your phone. My guess is, it will cast the level of service you have, so premium gets premium cast to the screen. I pay for youtube tv, so hopefully works. Back when he first had it, we tried youtube tv and caused the system to reset. This time it works so much smoother.
Well, I think I nailed it. Should have placed money on it.I would expect the next update to be a really good one and made available on or near October 16th.
