How is this energy graph considered an update? The graphics are a little different? It’s still an opaque measurement, over minutes instead of miles, with the stupid 2mi/kwh as the default middle without in any way informing you what you’d actually need to do to get the rated range.
That's more-or-less my take too. Ok it looks cosmetically different, but it's basically the same thing. I want to adjust away from 2mi/kwh and have the max be greater than 4. So far my lifetime average on my R1S through 4,000 miles is right at about 2.50mi/kwh. I'd like the choice to zero in on that value. How is this energy graph considered an update? Yeah I'm surprised there are no pics yet. Here you go. Let me know if I forgot something and I'll try to grab a pic really quick. Note, on the Nav screen, when you have a route planned, street names will appear.

I agree. I came to the R1S from a Taycan and there was one setting that had a map full-screen on the display and then speed was at the top. If you had a nav route active, one of the side displays would pop up to remind you - or you could set as a hybrid between the two and the map just seamlessly flowed into the side displays that overlapped it.I"m going to be picky here. I don't like the boxes. I like the info displayed but the boxes feel constrained. For example, back in the day when the edges of the map would sort of fade into the background. Anyone else remember that? You can still have the compass and nav directions but can't you blend in the box? So it is just floating there?
I've noticed since updating that if I'm near the car, the handles will pop open, and that is it. In fact I have to pull on the handle twice to get it to open whereas the car was completely powered on before & just pulling on the handle opened the door. I do feel as if it's at least dozing a lot more than it was before when I'd walk near it.According to ElectraFi data it also does NOT stay asleep as I was hoping from the release notes. Even worse, their claims of the truck going to sleep within 5s is also not true. If you happen to walk around the house with the truck in the garage and it unlocks / wakes-up, it still stays away for several minutes before going back to sleep...without a door being opened. So no clue what they're talking about other than maybe the displays not waking up or something, but the truck is definitely not asleep.
Ha! That's the phone camera at work. It does not look quite that bad in real life. That “pink” truck graphic is enough for me to avoid Canyon Red. ?
Did reformatting work? This has been an ongoing issue for me throughout multiple updates. Usually resolves after removing the drive and reinserting, sometimes take full sleep cycle, or the occasional reset. But nadda this time.Same here. Gear guard drive is now completely non-functional. Going to reformat my drive in a pc, then reinsert. That fixed my issue a couple updates ago.
Wouldn't surprise me if the Gen2 was able to sleep more modules than the Gen1. According to ElectraFi, my truck stayed awake for 50 minutes after I walked near it. At my office, on prior software, it will just constantly wake/sleep every few minutes even though the truck is more than 50ft away. Maybe I'll get lucky and see that behavior stop tomorrow at the office.I've noticed since updating that if I'm near the car, the handles will pop open, and that is it. Yes. Waiting game I guess.Still haven’t gotten it yet. Connect + subscriber, dual max r1t. WiFi connected. Anyone else?
Good point. It'll be interesting to see how yours reacts to the update.Wouldn't surprise me if the Gen2 was able to sleep more modules than the Gen1.
