2024.39 Update Rolling Out

Im not sure the connect + priority is effective on this deployment. How are several people without connect+ able to update when paid subscribers are not? Hmm.

Maybe they'll get it right next time. ;-)

Technically my free 60 days of connect+ goes through 10/17, but i signed up for it right away as i knew i would want it. I still haven't received the update though.

According to ElectraFi data it also does NOT stay asleep as I was hoping from the release notes.

I was hoping to see an improvement with regard to the sleep behavior.

FYI - the release notes do not state anything about the vehicle staying asleep.

From the notes:

• Vehicle sleep behavior
  • When the driver and passengers exit the vehicle, the vehicle now starts to sleep within 5 seconds even if an unoccupied passenger seat belt is still fastened.
  • When the driver and front passenger exit the vehicle, and close the doors but don’t lock them, the vehicle now starts to sleep within 5 seconds.
  • When the vehicle starts to sleep, tap on the center or rear display within 1 minute to wake it back up.

Had the mono audio issue come back today after updating last night. Was sorely disappointed. Cleared up after infotainment reset.

My Gen 1 got the update. My Gen 2 is stuck at "Paused..." On wifi and mobile. I now have an appointment on Dec 13th. Lol no Halloween for my wife apparently.

Gen 2 - got the update a few hours ago. It actually downloaded over the cell connection. Was pleasantly surprised.

Subscribed to Connect+ last night. Got the notification for update tonight. But my R1S is at the service center.

Gear guard was fine before this update. Now it’s broken and won’t recognize my storage device. No notification other than the tiny camera icon with a line through it.

Why is it always something?

After this update - the Apple Music issue - not playing any songs , after coming back to vehicle is not a problem anymore . So looks like they fixed this annoying problem..

Got the update… my battery seems to be doing weird things. Getting a red battery notification. Can’t schedule charging. Getting inconsistent max charges. Have done a hard reset already.

Also is turn off auto unlock at home not a feature anymore?

I was sure the update would pop up for me like it did last time, while I was home on my hour lunch, and having to wait until I got home after work to do the update. I was surprise when I got back to work from lunch and and back to my desk and the notification for the update popped up. Went ahead and updated. It took less than an hour on LTE data. I was initially miffed as the only new feature I could try from my desk was the new live camera feature where it defaults to last camera used rather than the left side mirror. Not a big deal but made post a rant about updates not doing what they should(like fix Apple Music) only to re-read the realest notes that mention app version 2.15.00, looked at my app version 2.14.00 and it still that version in App Store so they haven’t released it yet. The only thing I truly cared about was Apple Music working the way it should. On the drive home it sounded better to my ears. Well after about 2 hours went out to the truck and my music started playing as soon as I opened the door and it was even in the same spot as when I closed the door. So it looks to be fixed. I’m a happy camper……for now. ?
