Our latest software update just rolled out. Here’s what’s new:

Gear Guard Motion Cam now starts recording when it senses object movement nearby
Gen 1 vehicles get Go Chime and Smart Turn Signals — we see you, early adopters
Ride feel is smoother over uneven bumps and dips at low speeds

Looks like release is close they have the 2025.10.30 being pushed, usually see this when the public release is ready.

Did soft reset of infotainment, fixed the issue. FYI.

Just installed the latest but prior updates did not impact the phone functions at all.

Lots of wonky stuff can be avoided by doing a reset after a software update. Used to have wild stuff happen, garages disappearing, Bluetooth issues, screens going black. Haven't had a single post-update issue since I started resetting after each update.

Suspension is smooth in soft on the Gen 1 R1S through a rough parking lot nearby. Tomorrow I'll test it over some angled train tracks that usually shakes the whole truck back and forth. Go chime worked ok and glad they implemented it for Gen 1.

Installed a couple of hours ago and didn't have any issues. So far no reboot needed but I haven't driven it yet.

I hope to heck the reason my truck won't sleep right now is it is downloading the latest update...

EIther that or I have some very serious vampire drain issues.
